Good fabric for the price
I sew pro wrestling gear for a living and I have used this fabric for many of my clients. It's great for appliques but should definitely be used with a lining fabric if you use one of the lighter colors. It's not super thin but it's also not on the same level as thicker performance fabric. All in all it's pretty decent.

Great fabric!
I use this fabric for lining my dancewear designs and it works great. I buy it by the bolt because I use so much. It’s also a great price!

Good quality
Love this fabric for making swimsuits. I ordered it thinking it was matte like I have gotten in the past, and received shiny. but it was still thick and great quality fabric.

Wonderful feel, great stretch
I love the material itself. I am sure this is the same as the gold that I bought in-store a while back. I bought the lime green on line, and the only thing I am disappointed in is the color. It is much more garish than the pleasant lighter color shown.

Nice stretch and weight
I use this material for workout underwear as well as leotards. It works well, just know it needs to be lined or it is slightly see-through.

HARD to work with, but great quality!
Repeat after me: opaque performance fabric. Finally, yoga pants you can't see your undergarments through!! I love all the colors this comes in, and one side has a light sparkle/shine to it? which is nice, but if you don't want that the other side is slightly more matte. My only warning is that this fabric is SLIPPERY AS A FISH and can be a pain to sew... use lots of clips! (And no pins!)

I bought this fabric a month or so ago for a one piece low tank swimsuit project.omgeee this fabric is the prettiest red ever it has a beautiful light sparkle to it. I can never seem to use the coupon for it because its always 40% off. Seems like thats the original price lol.i want to use the 50 and 60% off coupon. But i love this fabric.i feel it an be expensive at joanns because i have seen other similar or alike fabric on line however i am scared to order offline from other sites so i just stuck with joanns. I didnt finish the suit yet so i cant upload any pics.

Harley Quinn Fabric
I used this fabric to make a Harley Quinn Cosplay and I think it works well. As for it being a mix of two colors I only have it dry cleaned and i have no issues with color. Easiest spandex I have worked with.

No problems with red or roiyal blue
My granddaughter has worn leotards in this for a year, one red and one Royal, with no bleeding issues. She used the Royal for a swim suit and it didn't lose color then either. We will be making one in pink this weekend and find out if this color does as well. I wish there was a ballet pink in this line, though! Four stars for this oversight.

I bought 9 yards of fabric, it came in two pieces. I was making drapes for a stage. I could not use 3 of the yards. I had to go to the store and buy 3 more yards. It's was an expense I did not need.

lost color after first use
I bought this to make swim skirts for 2 customers. I bought purple to coordinate with their swimsuits. After one day of swimming, they now have PINK skirts. I am not happy with this product, especially since it specifically says it's for swimming, etc.

Leotards for equestrian vaulting

Store vs. website
I'm confused. I bought the product in the store today & with the same sku for the Black 7161417, it said 82% Nylon / 18% Spandex on the bolt. However, this website says 87% Nylon / 13% Spandex? Which is it? Why the variance? I ordered some from the website & it hasn't arrived yet, so I was forced to buy at a store. Am I going to get the same product, or something different? Also, what I bought today is not nearly as shiny as what I have purchased from the store in the past. Are these inconsistencies normal?

Great fabric
I needed a relatively cheap four-way stretch for a costume, and this is what they had. It has a sheen to it, but by using e wrong side it is much more matte, which is what I needed. It stretches like a dream, but is slippery beast to sew with. I am quite pleased with it.

Don't laugh, but based on the reviews that said the pink bleeds like mad, I actally bought the pink, made four dresses and washed it with the white scarves they use in the dance. Kind of a cool effect if I do say so myself.

bleeding problem
I have purchased the hawaii, hot pink, lime green, yellow and purple to make swim outfits with. The first Hawaii colored one completely sagged after some use. The next batch all held their shape, but the hot pink definitely has a problem with color steadfastness!!!! Bleeds all over after numerous washings. It's called swim knit but fades greatly after using for swimming. Nice weight of fabric though

omg! my pink ran too!!
I had he same problem, made 2 costumes for my daughter out of the lime and the hot pink and hand washed them, made the mistake of hanging them next to each other to dry and the hot pink ran all over the lime.. awful.....
