Mermaid scales
I bought this material to give it a test run on durability for mermaid scales for a high school musical! I cut out scales and heated the edges, carried in my pocket all day, washed a few with my clothes. Tests come out good! Washable, beautiful colors available and durable! I will be using this product!!

Beautiful but hard to work with
This fabric is so pretty and drapes so beautifully, but it is terrible to work with if you are a beginner sewer. It slips and slides all over the place, the edges fray insanely bad, and when you try to sew, the fabric tries to bunch up, giving you a puckered final look. I was able to make a beautiful top out of this, but it took a long time wrestling with this material.

Nice fabric.
Really nice fabric. Was a little tricky to work with since it is slippery. Worked well under the sheer floral.
