This paint is hard to.find in stock in most craft stores. With the pricing and shipping discount coupon offered I am extra pleased with my purchase.

We painted entire kitchen full of golden oak cabinets with this. Gorgeous. No odor, rarely any drips. Great finish that will hold up well. Great paint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satin Enamels® to the rescue! We're in the process of selling our house. Had the old orange pine wood on our handrails and spindles. Decided we wanted to paint the spindles white with espresso stained post and handrails. Didn't have time to do it ourselves so we hired a professional who completely ruined the spindles with some chalky feeling paint. My husband cut them all out and installed new ones. My chore was to go over the horrific paint job under the handrail with white paint. Found someone online who used DecoArt Americana Decor Satin Enamels to paint her kitchen cabinets. Rave reviews so I used that for my project. They turned out great! Carpet installers nicked some of the spindles and this Pure White satin enamel was the ONLY match we found for factory made white spindles. Three other tries from a different brand that was an oil-based enamel were literally gray even though they were advertised as "Glossy White". Only drawback would be it is a small container for the price. I didn't have a lot of surface area, so I only used ½ of the jar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use for a quick new look to cabinets I bought this because I heard a lot of positive things about this new satin enamel finish and I was really tired of my yellowed "almond bisque" cabinets from the 1980s. I chose smoke grey as a finish. It definitely has a blue undertone which was a surprise, but given how much I really didn't like the previous cabinets, I didn't mind it. Anything was an improvement. I did sand the cabinets before, as well as cleaned them with a TSP substitute. I lightly sanded between coats (when I remembered). There are a few dings and scratches from when I re-installed the cabinets but easy enough to touch up. I emailed DecoArt and they said that it takes a full 2 weeks for the finish to cure, so keep that in mind when you put them back up. Light use, no harsh scrubbing, etc. until it has time to cure. But it was a quick and easy fix. I was able to get a few cabinets done for each jar. I bought a total of 9 jars for my kitchen which was small, so I anticipate having a few leftover, but I wanted to be sure to have enough.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Craft paint I searched everywhere for the best price I could find on some paint that was recommended to me. I was disappointed that I couldn’t use one of your coupons for this item, but ordered two jars anyway. The first one went on beautifullyand I was so excited to get my cabinets finished. I knew the second jar was bad the moment I started to stir it, there was a big clump of sludge that just wouldn’t dissipate. I tried thinning it but the final coat went on with streaks and bubbles. I called and was promptly given a refund and information on how to reorder at a later date, there was apparently none left in stock. A couple of weeks later I called to reorder and was told that my paint is discontinued! Here I am with a paint job that has to be completely redone, but no paint to be had. I give a three star rating because the customer service rep I spoke with helped me find my paint at a competitors site and even left me with the phone number and the item number. I had to pay many dollars more but at least the rep followed through to the end, she gets a 5 star rating in my opinion! I can highly recommend the paint product, but not the quality of the product I was sent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing DIY product! I am currently painting all of the oak woodwork in my house with pure white. I am half way through the kitchen cabinets and I am 100% pleased with this product. I choose to use the DecoArt brushes only for edging, and a small foam roller for the main application. I did use the DecoArt stain blocker (dry for 5-7 day before painting) underneath the paint to prevent the woodgrain from bleeding through. I also used wood filler to minimize the deep grain. This product dries with a very hard finish. I really believe it will hold up over time. Yes, it is a small product, but with the foam roller I did get more use of one jar than I thought I would.
