Wilton Fondant --- Simply Wonderful
I used to make my own fondant, But, this fondant is great!!!! It's so easy to use and the flavor is incredible. Tastes just like my homemade marshmallow fondant.

Went on Beautifully
I just bought & used Wilton fondant for the first time yesterday. I had always steered clear of it because I've never heard good things about it. But since it was "New & Improved" I thought I'd give it a try. Rolled out and went onto cake beautifully with no tearing or elephant skin around the top edge. Made my cake look absolutely great. Even though I'm still not a fan of the taste it wasn't awful and maybe with a little Wilton flavoring in it I would like it better. Overall I'd definitely recommend and especially if you can use a Joann Fabric coupon that makes it even more worth it!

easy to use for figures
I've used this a few times for my cakes, the fist few times I purchased it was for figured and toppers and it was lovely. Easy to shape, and dried quickly. That being said, I didn't have much luck when trying to actually cover a cake. I found the fondant difficult to move once rolled out, and when trying to smooth over the cake it would stretch until it tore every time. Not an issue i have had with other brands. I had to remove it 3-4 times and start fresh. I eventually had to just roll it VERY thick and panel it on the cake. I do love that I can use can it on my vegan cakes!

Very fresh and initially soft but once you kneed a few times it is easy to work with. Has a smooth finish once on the cake. Taste has definitely improved! Would purchase again!

While I love the taste of
While I love the taste of the new preferred fondant, I do not like the way this covers. At least with the black old fondant it would covered nicely and did not tear or get that "elephant skin" look. I thought it might be the box, so I bought a new one and it did the same thing...very disappointed.

This new recipe is so much better thanthe old...especially the taste. So glad
they have improved it. Now I can
actually cover my cakes with it instead
of just using it for decorations. It's so
much easier to work with than some of
the more expensive brands. Way to go

LOVE the new Decorator Pr
LOVE the new Decorator Preferred fondant! It is softer which makes it easier to work with, it rolls out thinner, easier, due it's "stretchi-ness". Not super sticky either which I was concerned about due to it's softness, but not an issue.
