Easy to use and great for beginners
I bought this because my daughter wanted to make a special present for her grandmother. I didn't have a lot of expectations, but found it easy to help her set up and she's been happily trucking right along. Will purchase again.

CROSS STITCH BEGINNER
I love my JOANN fabric store! I am just learning cross stitch. I bought embroidery thread a long time ago but was not sure how to go about getting started. I read a bit about it online and got a reasonably priced flat pack so I can practice the various stitches, learn what thread count works best with a 14 count, etc. The fabric is stiff enough so that I could work without a hoop should I choose, but pliable enough to go into a hoop easily. When I become proficient, I will invest in a roll of cross stitch fabric and make a design myself.
