Solid pins!
These are great pins! I had some round top pins and the tops fell off or broke leaving the straight pin stuck in fabric. These are easy to grasp and no chance of the tops breaking off!

Wiring fake candles
Worked perfect for holding down wires of grain of wheat lights that were threaded through sections of plastic straws made to resemble candles on a styrofoam birthday cake to be used as a prop in community theater production. No flames keep the theater safe.
