It didn't really mark well on my fabric. Didn't return it, because hopefully it'll do better on other fabrics. Ended up just using a Frixon erasable ink pen.

This works a lot better than the pencil I was using before and the chalk comes out of the fabric easily if needed. I like the rolling motion more than using a more traditional chalk block as well.

Work great, but cartridge a challenge to remove.
Removing the chalk cartridge to take the plastic cap out was very difficult, but once the cap was removed, it works great. BTW, don't throw away the plastic cap, you'll need to put it back on the cartridge if you change colors.

I might be using it wrong but ?
I hate leaving a poor review for something and it could entirely just be the fabric I'm using but I could not get any pigment from the chalk to dispense. I'll try it again but so far not so good.

Did not work at all.
I tried both colors, thinking maybe the white chalk just wasn't showing up on my light fabric, but it wasn't dispensing any chalk. I will be returning it and trying a chalk pencil instead.

Not for me
Have not gotten this to work yet. The wheel spins but no chalk marking is visible. Luckily I also bought a cheaper tailor's chalk that is not as fancy, which has been working fine.

Uses of Dritz Chalk Wheel

Bomb! Lines are sharp. Only thing is the wheel can cause favric to move/drag or catch while drawing. Hold fabric down firmly.

It really does make a fine line. The cartridge does run out of chalk quickly. I like it better than pencil to mark fabric.
