Rated 1 out of 5 by from Product has changed for the worse I've owned one of these for years, it was my favorite seam ripper because the thin, pointy blade slid easily under stitches. It was still sharp but the blade itself broke and could no longer be attached to the handles. I threw it out and ordered this replacement, but to my dismay, the product has changed for the worse. The tip of the blade is not as pointy and the blade is not as sharp, so it does not perform nearly as well and I can no longer slide the tip of the blade easily under stitches. I am so disappointed. I should have kept the old seam ripper and duct taped the blade to the handle. I'm ordering the Fiskar seam reaper (same blade design) to see if it's better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seam ripping made easy This tool is very useful, especially when you need to remove stitches as often as I seem to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from curved blade seam ripper I purchased the 640 Dirtz curved seam ripper and love it. However, I have been unable to find curved replacement blades.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good ripper at all I was on the fence about purchasing a seam ripper this style, thought I'd cut myself of the fabric. Nope not sharp at all. Used it a few times and then went a bought a regular one with the ball on the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wicked Ripper This ripper is awesome! It is sharp all along the curved edge and also has a small hooked area that is sharp as well. Run the blade between the fabric over any unwanted stitches and your work is done. So much easier and faster to use than the ball point ripper. It is a wicked little device... So Don't Stand In It's Way!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NOT the same old seam ripper This ripper is sharp all the way along the curved edge - it is designed to allow you to slip the point under tiny stitches. For serger stitches, use the old kind. For precision work, use this. I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT I have no problems using this seam ripper and think it is GREAT! I really like it for picking out stitches on my longarm machine. When taking out a seam the blade makes it fast and easy!
