Since some people have reviewed they had luck, it would appear it might to some. However I was using a light colored baby flannel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An easy solution to a difficult problem I use Dritz tracing paper to transfer a pattern onto opaque material. Before finding this product I spent about 3 hours laying out my pattern with a ruler. Now it takes 15 minutes. Thank you, this stuff is awesome.
