My go to pen for markings. Luv it! Use it for sewing, embroidery and quilting. My points have dulled a lil bit from so much use tho.

Dritz Dual Purpose Marking Pen
Disaster! My wife sent me to the store to get a Disappearing Ink pen for the king size quilt she is sewing for her sister. They did not have it, so I bought the Dual Purpose pen.
The ink is NOT disappearing. She's in tears! HUSBANDS, please buy what they send you for, and only purchase the purple one.

Good value
This pen works great. I don't even know which side is washout and which side is disappearing, but they both stay long enough to cut out, and aren't there after you wash it.

It'd doing the job!
Great marking pen. Even the purple side doesn't really disappear fast. We've been using it to make masks and it's holding up, even though my 89 year-old mother can't lock the lid back on tight.

Great Pen
I have 3 of these because they work great. The purple marks come off with plain water and rubbed with a paper towel. Remove the marks before laundering though because there may be a chemical in your detergent that causes the lines to become permanent. The only thing I don't like about these pens is that the ink eventually runs out and I have to buy more. The tip is about medium ballpoint I would say. Not thin or stiff. I would recommend.

so fast and convenient
I use these pens a lot as I am responsible for making kits for our church sewing group. We donate our quilts, dresses, and pillowcases to charities so the markings need to be accurate and easy to see on the fabrics. Some of our sewers just pick up kits to complete at home and return the next week. This marking pen has never disappointed and is easy to use and to see. Thank you for making a reliable product that makes my job easier and so rewarding.

Love it...
I've used this marking pen on many projects over the last several years and it has worked great. The purple side disappears in 24-48 hours. The blue side never disappears until you get it wet. But it comes out quickly and easily with just a damp cloth. Doesn't show up well on dark fabrics.

I have used this product for several years for quilting and it wipes right off with a damp cloth or use a spray bottle and it disappears.
