I have been looking for metal grommets and still have not found any but these plastic ones are perfect for the nursery I am doing. I am lining my fabric wit heavy Rocklon blackout lining and the grommets are sturdy enough and easy to install. Very happy with them

The included template was an added bonus and was so easy to use. The grommets hold the weight of the panels; I was afraid they wouldn't. I couldn't be more pleased!

I went to JoAnns looking for grommets thinking that I would be buying metal ones that would need a hammer. I saw the plastic option and decided to try. I am so happy with the results. They look like they were professionally done. Now that I am familiar with them, I plan to make some curtains for my daughter's room as well.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed Results I bought 6 packages to use for new draperies. Four of the packs worked great. They were easy to install and look GREAT. The grommets in the other two packs would NOT connect together. The difference that I discovered is that the ones that worked had 12 prongs on each grommet. The ones that did not work only had 8 prongs.

I love the look as they are hanging and the fact that they slide back and fourth with ease. I used the template and cut the holes and popped in the grommet with ease! I will be doing a lined curtain next, I will let you know how that goes.

I thought they looked a little fake when they were hanging on the shelf, but as soon as I (very easily) installed them to my drapery panels, I was in LOVE! They make my relatively inexpensive draperies look like I paid top dollar. I have not hung them yet, so I can not yet comment on the quality, but from an aesthetics standpoint, they're perfect.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from plastic grommets I like the others had these grommets pop off on my grommet curtains that I made- my husband (an engineer) decided to try sanding down the outside of the circle of the male grommet to equal the height of the 2 inner cirles- so far they have worked. Will try hanging them now to see if they stay on.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not ideal for purse/bag installation I bought these (with coupon, of course) to use on a "My Favorite Bag" pattern which called for cotton fabric lined with a Pellon 987F backing. For the pattern, you needed to install the grommets through the bag front and bag lining, which meant 2 layers of cotton fabric, and 2 layers of Pellon 987F. The included template was easy to use, and the instructions for use were simple enough. However, the plastic construction of this item is not heavy duty enough to use in this type of application. The grommets randomly "pop" apart, not holding in place. I will have to try to apply some superglue or other adhesive and then reinstall hoping they will remain in place permanently. A heavy duty, or twist/lock in place grommet would be a great!

I bought pewter color to match old metal one and they are almost perfect. you have to use template to cut the hole on fabric, the bottom part of grommet not support piercing but pressed on to the top grommet. I had to cut hole little bit bigger than template and it worked perfect. took time to figure it out. Now it looks like professional drapery and my friends love it.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from using grommetts these are really slick especially if you open the whole package and get out the templet which I failed to do at first and I would cut and cut some more, then I thought this would be great if they had a templet and so then I FOUND the templet. They are so neat I love this product I used this on home dec fabric that was pretty thick and it worked great. You do have to cut the fabric to match the hole or it won't work.
