You can easily retrieve the needles from the tube by removing the lid and turning the tube over. An internal magnet holds the needles at the top of the tube and fans them out for easy selection.

Dritz Needle storage tubes are a must have
I wanted an easier way of taking my crossstitch needles around. Saw these and thought I would give a try. They are fabulous. There is a magnet inside that keeps the needles from falling out when opened and you do not have to fight to pull the needle out of the original casing

Dritz needle storage tube with magnet.
With this needle storage tube and it’s magnetic hub the needles do not drop out. The needle’s end is held by the magnet inside which allows for easy selection without the needles dropping out.

These storage tubes have a good design. A magnet holds them in until you turn the opening down. Then you can easily get to the needles without all of them falling out.

Secure your needled

Horrible -- sticks and won't let the needles out
These seem like a good idea but I'm guessing they only work with larger needles. My daughter embroideries and wanted a way to store and sort her collection of needles. We purchased these and they just don't work. The needles seem to slip down beside the magnet then jam it in place where it won't move. She has various sized needles and has them sorted and yet all 3 cases seem to be having the same problem.

Perfect storage for all your needles
I am so happy to have my needles stored by size. There is a magnet which holds the needles in the tube. When you hold the tube upside down the needles slide down and you decide which needle you want. It is easy to remove and replace when you finish using it.

Wonderful tubes!
Got these to store my Sue Spargo needles. Hey had a little magnet in them that fans out the needles when you take off the top and turn the tube over. You can choose the needle you want effortlessly. Very cool!
