How To Get It

The Dritz Seam Roll - Plaid is a handy pressing tool used for pressing seams open on long and narrow areas, pant legs and other hard-to-reach areas. Use the plaid side, made from 65% cotton and 35% polyester, for woolens, synthetic blends and fabrics requiring low to medium temperatures. You can use the cotton side for cotton, linen and fabrics requiring medium to high temperatures. It prevents impression marks on the right side of the fabric and will give your projects a professional finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mmmm…Steamed Hams I do love it when a product is as repurposed as this one. This sawdust-stuffed seam roll combined with the classic ham and the pincushion tomato provides a surface for steam ironing out every seam I can think of. I found this one is good for sleeves, center seam of my masks, top shoulder seams, and even princess seams for my large chest. Just make sure you dry the thing out before putting it away so it doesn’t get moldy. I’ve had mine for 13 years with moderate use. (I wish Dritz would consider looking at the lifecycle of some of their other disposable products, like the seam ripper. Shouldn’t that handle be recyclable..?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for many ironing jobs Works great and was cheaper than making one. I wish the one I got was the same color as the picture on Joann's site. The one I got is the same tired old boring red plaid they've been using for at least 30 years.
