Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has this stuff changed in 40 years? Maybe I'm too deep into tech, but it seems like some product development might be in order, like something that *will* hold up under the weight of denim and many washings. This stuff is for lightweight fabrics that you won't wash, or for replacing pins in fabric that would leave a nice swag if you pinned it (lamé, swimsuit, etc.). The problem is that the labeling hasn't changed much, either. Sewing & craft product in general is all too reliant on our mothers for what should be in their documentation. Against advice, I have fairly successfully used it for Girl Scout patches, along with an ample dose of uptight mom regarding garment care (it *is* an official uniform, after all). The issue I have is that several of the patches puckered; they can't handle the heat Stitch Witchery requires, and of course, there was nothing written for me anywhere to know that before I figured it out the hard way. (Since most of the patches have their own hot glue on the back, I wanted to be consistent with the method of attachment.) There must be a burnt-out pharmaceutical chemist who needs a part time job. I'd pay a little more for a new (additional) product that serves a more rigorous purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love stitch witchery I have been using stitch witchery on my hems for at least 20 years. I consider THIS to be EXACTLY the RIGHT tool for the job of HEMMING pants. If the hem comes down, it is easy enough to do it again. Use a damp cloth and let it fuse properly and the hem will not come down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product This is a great product! It saves time & helps make your sewing items have a professional finish. I use it instead of basting where I can.
