What did I ever do without this
I don't think I will ever go back to pinning again- this miracle tape takes their place. I quite today and not one pin poke. What a glorious day!

Pretty good
Whenever I machine sew a hem on a stretch knit I have trouble with the fabric stretching and waving. So I tried this tape and found that it helps lessen the waving. I had no trouble stitching through the tape. I used it with both single needle and double needle stitching; with the double needle it lessens the waving but doesn't help much with the "bubble" ridge between the two rows of stitches. Its only fault is that it's pretty narrow, so you have to be very precise when you place the tape. I wish it were a little wider.

I use in every sewing project
I love magic tape and swear by it. I literally keep 5 or so of these things in stock at my house because I know I'll use it. Made my hems so much better, especially for stretchy fabrics. My process is to put on the tape leaving the paper back at first, bring it to ironing board and iron the edge of hem, then paper falls off really easy and stick the fabric together, then sew. In general it's never made the needle stick except once with very sheer thin fabric I tried it on, but that instance I don't think I ironed first which I think would have helped.

Wonderful product!
I bought this tape a couple weeks ago after seeing it on a TV sewing show. I've used it on several Christmas projects in the last little while and I've loved it. In tight corners it's so much better than a pin, and it definitely didn't gum my needles or pins. I would recommend that if you sew you keep a roll of this handy.

Perfect for basting
A friend of mine recommended this tape for basting pieces on my purses. I purchased it and love it. I use it to baste my hems and my quilts as well. I prefer it to pinning in most instances. It does not gum up my sewing machine needle and I can't even tell it is there once I am done sewing my project.

Great for Jersey
I used this today for the first time. I will never sew any stretch, slippery, or light fabric with out it. It was easy to use and my hems looked better than they have ever looked.

Great Product
So many uses for this product!
Holds zippers in place for sewing.
Holds Oil Cloth & Laminated cotton in place when I can't pin.
Holds binding in place on the back side when I need to stitch from the front.
Wish it was more readily available at my local JoAnn's - they are always out of stock!

Good product; bad manufacturing
I really liked this product, until I got about 1/3 through the roll. At that point, the sticky side stopped being protected by the release paper. So, a sticky edge is now always showing. If I don't use it for awhile, I need to cut that away, wasting too much! Great product, but shoddy manufacture.

Fabulous to use when pinning would distort the seam. Easy to sew through; easy to remove or move...like Post-it notes.
