Flannel makes great pants for grandson

Wonderful Christmas PJ’s
I love this flannel, I bought it to make my son and his family matching PJ bottoms and coordinate it with a matching t-shirt. Makes wonderful Christmas presents that they can use all year long. My oldest grandson says they are the softest PJ’s he has ever had!

Not really a flannel
Really more of a thin brushed cotton. Printed on the thin base, not woven like real flannel. I expected better quality from the Eddie Bauer name.

Good product, 2 reminders
Love the finished results of working with this plaid flannel fabric. However, while youre working with it, its very likely that youll notice the lines it was cut with do not align with the plaid lines so that can drive a perfectionist crazy.
The other thing is never forget to prewash! When I sewed this to a fleece backing, it shrunk a slight amount.

Really comfortable. Definitely wash first, it shrinks a bit and washing makes it easier to work with. My husband gets compliments in the hardware store for the shirt I made him from this.

Very soft! Not as dark as the photo
I bought four yards of this and washed it, and it's wonderfully soft. I am impressed by how on-grain the print is!
The print is definitely not this dark--it's more of a medium gray. I'm still very happy with it.

Nice fabric!
Nice color. Very soft. Quite a bit of shrinkage after pre-wash, so be sure to buy a little extra and don't skip the pre-wash step.
