My new sewing machine fit in the bag easily with extra space available for my notions, scissors, rulers and more. It has lot of extra zipped and non-zipped pocket space inside and outside on the bag. The bag rolls easily, it did not add a lot of extra weight to the machine inside of it and it fits into an average closet space without difficulty. The handle extension works fine. I am glad I purchased it to protect my sewing machine. It was on sale when I purchased it and the price of the bag at Joann's was the lowest I found for the bag.
