Easy to hook and unhook
Having recently purchased this buckle, I was worried that due to a lack of instructions it would be difficult to use. Upon testing it, I've found that rather than buckling and unbuckling, the mechanism is more along the lines of hooking and unhooking. It's easy to fasten, but just as easy to unfasten, which may be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on the wearer's preferences, The instructions do say to remove before washing, so I recommend keeping that in mind when choosing a way to attach this buckle to the rest of the project. I decided on using velcro, since I have trouble with knots and also didn't want to unpick the seam in the event that I wanted to wash the cape I'm making with it.
As for appearance, I think it's very pretty and will go well with the black and cobalt blue fabric I have chosen for my cape.

Easy to assemble belt buckle
