Cheap mismatched buttons
I was looking for a variety of brown buttons where there was some matching ones. There were a few cute buttons in there but even in purchasing two packages, none of the cuter, carved buttons had any mates. Many of the teeny tiny buttons were similar but I wanted the larger buttons. Plus many puttons were broken or had rough edges in the sewing holes and on the edges. 99% of thse went in the trash.

Buttons were exactly what I needed
I like these because they are quality buttons, and they look great. There are multiple sizes and styles, but there are enough of the same size for the project for which I needed them. I don't think any in the package were broken. The coloring was all similar so that they could be used in the same project without looking odd, light on one side, dark on the other. The buttons were all smooth, no rough edges or faces.
