Fiskars 12 inch paper cutter
It’s great. I have 12x12 cardstock and the larger cutter really came in handy. When it’s closed, it doesn’t take up much room. Great for my small work area.

Fantastic trimmer
I bought this to cut strips for a paper quilling class at my local store. It did great cutting 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch strips. The extender that flips out really helps keep the paper straight so you get a good cut

This is the fourth Fiskars trimmed I have bought. I have the larger one along with3 smaller one. I like to keep them in various places in my craft room. These are the best i expensive trimmers in the market. I’ve had the larger expensive ones but I prefer the Fiskars

My favorite portable paper trimmer
I've always preferred my Fiskars paper trimmers, but I bought this same model just over a year ago for a convention. The trimmer had the same sturdy basic features that I have come to depend on. However, this model had the slide-out ruler. LOVED it. Could not believe how much efficiency I was missing out on. Made my scrapbooking time far more efficient.

Unhappy
Used this for a few days and then the blade starting cutting the paper jagged. I replaced the blade and saw there were little jagged spots on the grid part that were cutting into the paper. Would not recommend this cutter at all.

Great trimmer
I bought this about a year ago. I love it. I use it in my cardmaking and paper crafting. My husband also has a business that uses commercial grade vinyl and I take my cutter to his office and cut it. It has proven to be an asset and he is now thinking about getting one or another type made by fiskars. I have a guillotine one that is not a fiskars and I always cut the paper the wrong size because I wasn't sure where to place the paper to cut it. Not a problem with this one. I also love that I can cut 12" papers with the extended arm, but if I am just needing to cut card size, the arm tucks away and I have a 6" cutter. The cutter is easy to change and it is well marked so if you need a eight, the line is there for you to use.

My Favorite Trimmer
I have been using fiskers trimmers for years. I really like the wire guide, love the see thru bar as it makes it easier to see. This size is really easy to take to crops. I love that the blade last for a really long time( i scrapbook and make cards). I give it 4 1/2 stars as with the plastic guide it seems after lots of use your cuts are not so accurate.

Great Paper Trimmer!
I love this paper trimmer! I found it online and purchased it in my local store, and I have not been disappointed. The SureCut wire cut-line is great and very accurate, even when trimming off a tiny, tiny strip of paper. I have mainly used it for cutting card stock and have noticed that it does leave the cut edge slightly indented from the pressure of the cutting blade, but not enough to be a problem. The only draw-back is that the edge that the paper is braced against is not completely strait, so make sure to line up your paper using the wire line or it will come out slightly crooked. I have used it many times and other family members have used it as well, but I have only had it for about a month and don’t know how it holds up over time. We’ll see!

Hard to line up
I have been using this to cut 'trim' pdf patterns and it has worked well. It is very hard to see where the blade will actually cut so precise cuts are nearly impossible.

Not a great trimmer
I bought this trimmer about 6 months ago, and was working fine... then it started bunching up while cutting. the edge of the paper was not clean it was frayed as if it was pulling while cutting. Went and got the next trimmer up from this one.

Not great for card makers
I've had many paper trimmers as a card maker. This one is difficult to see your cut line making it difficult to layer your card stock with minimum waste. Not wide enough without using the arm as well. I'm returning mine to the store I bought it from.

Can't Be Without This Trimmer
I can't imagine card making without this great trimmer. I use it and it's little cousin just about every day. It's really helped me get the 90 degree angles perfect and it is fun to use. Really lots better than a ruler and knife!!

Love it!
I have been using cutters for over 40 years with my scrap booking and card making! This is my favorite cutter! I love Fiskars SureCuts light weight for moving around the house, or, packing to a craft day. I find the cutting blades last a long time and cut easily. I am on my 3rd blade now after many years of use. Make sure you use even gentile pressure in holding the paper in place and sliding the cutting blade. I like the way the arm folds out for cutting larger paper and yet it is compact for travel. I have taken it in my rolling craft cart, suitcase, and in my one project 12"x16"x2" hard-side paper case many times. I have 2 larger rolling blade and 3 bypass cutting machines, yet, I always seem to use the SureCut! I like how I can quickly lift it on and off my different work areas as needed for making 12-24 cards at one time. The numbers are clearly marked all the way across the face making it easy to line up smaller and difficult angles. I bought my Fisker SureCut years ago when they first came out and have been very happy with it after 1,000s of cuts! I hope this is helpful in your shopping and happy crafting!
