Careful!
I bought the 24" X 36" folding cutting mat. You want to be very careful if you are cutting over the "seams" in the mat. I was using a 60mm rotary cutter- the blade of the cutter caught in the seam- went askew and I cut off a portion of my finger. Not a pleasant experience.

Flawed fold design
I needed to purchase a large mat and came across this Fiskars folding mat. I was concerned the seam would be an issue. I was right. The lines do not align perfectly at the fold making it more difficult to line up material and make accurate cuts. When the rotary cutter runs over the seam, especially if it's not a brand new blade, the material does not get cut (photo attached).

Handy cutting mat
a great size, markings are very useful, non-slip backing is helpful, easy to store, but whenever I use the rotary cutter along the folding section, I always have to recut the 1 or 2 threads left from where the mat folds. Easy enough to overcome by avoiding cutting over the folding section. The advantages of this mat far outweigh that 1 disadvantage.

Great Product
Great mat for the price. I love to craft on my bed and it’s sturdy enough to use as a. Hard surface as well which I love. Nice that it folds up because it fits right under my craft cart that way.
