Squeeze the handle to extend the auto-retracting blade for quick use or push the button to lock the blade open for extended use. You may also use the lock to keep the blade closed for safe storage. Blade changes are faster and easier thanks to fewer loose parts, and an ergonomically sculpted handle fits your hand naturally and comfortably. This rotary cutter can be assembled with the blade on either side, providing optimal blade visibility for both right- and left-handed users.

Fisk are trigger rotary cutter
This the best rotary cutter I have ever used. It’s safer than any other. The blade retracts when not in use.

My favorite Fiskars Rotary Cutter
I own 4 Fiskars rotary cutters but these are my favorite because you squeeze the handle as you cut but once you lay them on the table the blade automatically retracts. This is the safest rotary cutter you can use!

Great for gift wrapping
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of Fiskars since my kids were in school and was not disappointed with the Fiskars Trigger Rotary Cutter, it just zips through wrapping paper, just use a yard stick and zip along the edge for a super straight cut. This will definitely speed up my Holiday gift wrapping.
It is also great for crafting.
I thick how it snaps back into the protective cover for storage, so no accidental cuts.
