Thoughtful Blade Guard for Sharp Snips
Every sewer needs these snips! Very sharp! The blade guard is wonderful feature to protect you and others including 'those curious little reaching hands', Great to protect all the soft sided containers you may use for storage, safer during travels, feel safer to leave it out on the sewing table and keep them handy by your machine or even carry these snips in a pocket. All this is possible because you can instantly cover the blade by using the built-in guard. Very nice feature!

Work well but prefer other fiskars snips
These work well but i prefer my other fiskars snips. I have been using these in the garden for more delicate deadheadng, and they are 5 star fantastic for that purpose.

Necessary for every home sewer.
These clippers are very sharp, but it is easy to keep them safe by sliding an atrtached bar up straight. We all need these clips if we do a lot of sewing--even if we don't sew every day. They are great to use to clip all those thread tails, and just as easy to keep them safe by sliding an attached bar straight up.

Ease of handling

These snippers do their job well!
These are good thread snippers— they’re not Ginghers, but the blades are sufficiently sharp and clean. I particularly like the blade guard— it can be configured so that it blocks the entire blade, which is perfect for storage or if there are young children around. These snippers are accurate— they can reach small nooks and crannies of a piece of fabric. Overall, I like them a lot and am glad I bought them!
