Great ruler
Love it, used it to make masks and of course quilt. I think it is a great basic tool to have along with the rotary cutter and mat. I hang it by my mat on the wall behind it since it has a hole to hang it and then it is always ready to grab.

Look for a different ruler!
I purchased this about 9 months ago and have regretted it since. The "coastal colors" do not show up well against my mat which is pinkish-purple on both sides. The markings are WIDE, (pink with a white halo around them) so difficult to get exact measurement. Eighth marking are made once per inch with the wide marking style, and the 1/4 inch markings are painted on the reverse side and have begun to wear off in this short time. We are having a white elephant exchange at my guild and this is going in.

Great ruler!
So I had a smaller ruler but I was struggling with keeping it still while cutting.
I kept seeing people suggest these larger rulers to help and I was skeptical.. but I saw this very cute pink ruler on sale online while a 20% coupon was active. So I made a little investment, and I am kicking myself for not getting it sooner. I don't have nearly as many problems with the ruler slipping, and it's far easier to make accurate cuts.
It also has a little hole at the top where you can easily hang it on the wall. Color is a bonus, it's very cute!

I love how the inches start from every end! Whatever way you lay the ruler down you can see the right measurement. Very happy with it, better then the older style I had.

Not durable
I bought my Fiskar ruler about three years ago. The markings on it have slowly faded. Too much to pay for a product that doesn't last longer than that!

I bought this ruler several years ago. I have used it on several sewing products. It is very durable. I have caught my kids using it as a bridge (they are not supposed to touch my sewing stuff). After about 8 years, it has finally cracked, (when one son decided to hit it against bricks to see what would happen) and I am planning on buying another one. The only complaint I have is that the light pink lines are sometimes hard to see on some materials.

Love my Ruler!
I purchased one of these several years ago and it has been my favorite ruler for my quilting projects ever since. I love the long vertical lines. They make it very simple to mark out patterns or make accurate cuts.

So much easier!
I was a little disappointed that mine didn't come with the little non slip feet like I had read about in the other reviews, since I really do stink at rotary cutting and was hoping they would help lol. But will still be a great ruler and way better for cutting quilt squares than the 6x6 and 9x9 square rulers I was using :) AND IT'S PINK!!!

Great tool
I bought this a few weeks ago to use with my yearly Christmas sewing presents. I happened to see a video with someone using it online. This years gifts are the much needed market tote bags and this was a life saver. Helps with keeping things even and measuring is a snap. Should have bought it years ago. I think it is cheaper in the store

Good size is about it
The lines on this ruler are pink, very hard to see on most fabrics. I suppose it would work well for dark fabrics. The little non-slip feet came off within a day, I'd still be happy with it if ALL the lines weren't pink, maybe a pink black mix, but other than trimming a quilt for binding, I'm not sure how useful this will be. Disappointed.

Finally!!
This ruler actually came with little clear rubber "feet" to keep it from sliding all over the place! Yay. :) I was extremely happy about that. (And I love the pink accents on the new "coastal" line...)
