Fiskar's Cutting Mat
This cutting mat is a good intermediate size for me to take to workshops. It has a lovely gray color to provide contrast with many fabrics.

Works as expected!
This cutting mat is thick and works well with the rotary blade that I purchased. I've made multiple cuts along the same measurement line and it's difficult to tell that I have. It's super sturdy with minimal marking so far. The only strange thing about it is that it holds fuzz and hair because it seems to be static-y (that could also just be the winter). That's a minor inconvenience and not a deal breaker.

This mat is wonderful. It is self healing and makes my projects so much easier. You don't have to be an expert to use it for your projects. Good for all levels.

Newest Mat Technology is awesome
This cutting mat is perfect. It is a much nicer surface than my rather elderly mats on my cutting table. The surface is very pleasant feeling. It also lays F.L.A.T. No annoying humps or curves. The feel when using a rotary cutter is effortless. The blade just glides along.

Excellent choice
Perfect for my needs, which wasn’t necessarily cutting fabric although I do that at times. The price point is better than the specific to quilting brand and this is a really good brand. Protects my desk surface, it is fine for cutting and the neutral color is easy on the eyes.
