Off-grain EVERY time:I love the feel and warmth of this material. I make a lot of garments that have a free flowing portion. If I pull a thread to fine the true grain, (so my project will not begin to hang cockeyed) I loose a lot of yardage. Other than that expensive loss, this fabric is one of my favorites. For skirts, scarves and wide legged slacks, you should purchase extra...

Bad Quality, color description offI ordered 2 colors, Saphire blue and Aruba blue. Saphire blue was thick and heavy but not particularly satiny & slinky feeling and the flannel backing was as expected. The Aruba blue is actually a conventional bright aqua, not at all like the beautiful color pictured. It snagged the first time I touched it; the quality is so bad it is unusable. It is much lighter weight and much more silky/satiny than the other color I bought. It is barely textured on the reverse side. I will be returning the Aruba blue.

Super softI love this fabric! Always washes nice on cold, kids love how soft it is, and it's not to bad to work with.

Cuddly blankets and pajamas and bridal dressing goI have made infant quilts and ladies pajamas with this. It has always been a huge hit! I had to go to two different shops to get the yardage that I needed and could only find pale pastels available. I am very glad to see a larger selection of colors on line. Now I can make dressing gowns for my daughter's bridal party too.

Medium Blue is PurplyThe color shown for Medium Blue does not represent the true color.
It is more of a royal purply blue.
It is more feminine than many would want for a blue.

Flannel-backed satinI agree with Marge! Love to make PJ's because you can toss and turn so much easier--but even more cool is when I use it to line my jackets. It's nice to use the prints for a little special surprize inside.

Flannel back satinI love this fabric and use it to make my high-end baby blankets for my Etsy shop. I have been so dissappointed in the selection of colors and patterns. Wasn't always like that..where did they go. We want MORE !!

colorI love this fabric for making little cuddle blankets for my grandchildren and gifts. My granddaughter has picked out one particular color, light purple. That is the only blanket she wants, I would like to find some more of the light purple color. Have had no luck, came on line to see if I could get it and it looks like everyone else wants it also. Please let us know if we can get more someplace.

Love the fabric but need more selectionI bought this fabric to make two matching blankets for my girls - one pink and one purple. I was able to get enough of the pink fabric for the one but haven't been able to find 3 full yards of the purple to finish the second blanket. And now the purple isn't even available online! The finished blanket is so wonderful - warm and soft - that the girls fight over who gets to sleep with it. It was fairly easy to sew thanks to the flannel backing (it didn't slip around like regular satin), which was nice since I am a beginner.

Need More Color OptionsI love to use this fabric for baby linens...has a great hand. The flannel back keeps it from slipping as much as regular satin. Would love more color choices: chocolate brown, pale green, more pinks, or more prints.

GREAT FABRICI use this fabric both for PJ's and also as linings for a special coat that we make and sell. I agree with the others that I wish there were more colors. Seems to be lots of pinks, one yellow but I too would love to see a couple of greens and more prints that don't have pink as the basic color.

Great FabricI love making blankets for my kids with this fabric. However, I wish that it came in more plain colors. It makes it very hard when you have to match the satin to another fabric and you cannot find the color that will work.

Wonderful product.I only wish you made it in more plain colors. I used to be able to buy ivory, red and yellow. A darker royal blue would also be great. Please keep stocking it year 'round.
