    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gold Foil Pleather I've purchased this foil pleather several times. There is a definite difference in quality from the pleather that I purchased the first few times. The pleather that is being sold now is not as good a quality. It is lighter in weight and the gold has a tendency to crack and peel. The same goes for the silver foil pleather. I'm sure JoAnn's notices the difference in quality as well. I'm guessing this is a problem with the manufacturer. I am disappointed.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from good sub for leather I bought the black foil and the gold foil. I make custom cloth dolls and needed to replace a nu-buck leather that I can no longer find anywhere. The black foil is the closest to what I needed. I have sewn the black foil into pants and used the gold for a pair of sandals, both work just fine for my needs and look very professional. You do need to use a needle made for leather and be careful with the stitches - you are making a hole in the fabric so don't pull on the seams too hard without reinforcing them or they will rip. I liked both just fine but I would like them better if the price was a little lower. If I was using them for something other than dolls I probably would think three times before buying at their current price.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used this in place of lambskin leather for horse show shirts & it is very eacy to work with and you wouldn't know the difference between lambskin to this. Highly recommend and it is cheaper than lambskin!
