Very easy way to make HST
There are many ways to make half square triangles and I've tried them all. Until I bought this ruler, though, I'd never done this method, always thought it was too time consuming. I was wrong.....the accuracy means that there's no squaring up of the HST (providing you've sewn it correctly). I'm glad I purchased this ruler, I use it all the time,

Don't quilt/sew without it.....
It lets you cut triangles without having the bias edge on the outside. So when you are sewing your quilt all together at the end, your blocks or setting triangles are not stretching on the bias edge.
I love the fact that it gives you the finish size of your block, so you cut one strip and you have it all in your hand. Instead of one strip x size and one strip the other size. You never have to worry again on weather youre cutting the right strip when you have two strips laying there and there is only a fourth of an inch difference between the two strips.
The only problem Ive found is I misplace the ruler more often then I'd like to admit. So to fix this, Ive bought another ruler.
