Perfect for copying patterns
I have three grandchildren. And, of course they keep growing! So instead of cutting the pattern and then having to buy another on when they grow out of it, I now just trace the pattern size that I need. It’s a great money saver. I bought this by the bolt. I can also be used to test a pattern as you can actually sew it. I also buy patterns online, download them and print on paper. But the paper is so bulky that I copy it onto this Pellon tracing paper. This is much better.

Ingenious product! I love this pattern tracing 'fabric paper'!
I've rebought this several times over the years, and I have never been disappointed! It is sturdy, but not stiff. Can be folded and stored in a plastic zip top bag, and then ironed flat when needed.
I have used it for transferring sizes and markings from store-bought patterns, as well as making my own custom patterns. It is a fantastic product.

Great Pattern Transfer Fabric
I purchased this because I did not want to cut my sewing patterns so I could still have all sizes available for future projects. I'm very happy with the quality of this product. It's sturdy but see through enough to easily transfer pattern markings. It irons and cuts really well.
Would definitely recommend.

I Love This
I sew doll clothes and make sure that I buy all my patterns as PDFs. I buy Pellon 830 by yards and use my rotary cutter and mat to quickly cut it into 8.5x11 inch sheets. Then sheets can be placed on top of regular paper in a printer one sheet at a time and those tiny pieces can be printed easily. They are reusable, and can also be pinned or adjusted on the doll as needed.

Great product
My husband recently ordered 10 yards of this for me. I wanted to keep the original patterns intact, as I use multiple sizes of the same pattern. Once I trace and mark the pattern on this Pellon 830, I sew it on my machine (longest basing stitch) and try it on. Once I have made any adjustments, I just use a seam ripper and I have a new pattern.
This Pellon 830, also folds and stores in the original pattern envelope. It does take a little time, but I don’t cut my material without knowing if the pattern will be the correct fit. That is definitely a money saver. Since, I got my original 10 yards, my husband ordered me another 20 yards.

Fabric and pattern saver.
I just received this tracing material two days ago. I had a dress that I made several times and it was a little too big. I decided instead of cutting out and wasting part of the pattern that I would try this tracing material. Luckily, it was easy to sew. I used a basing stitch on my machine. When I tried the makeshift dress on, it was too tight in the bust. It saved me for cutting the actual material.
Now I have the pattern in a smaller size for someone else.

Not what I needed - oops

It’s very easy to see the pattern you need to draw, doesn’t slip and packs up well in an Manila envelope.
