I’m new to crocheting and I love it. Honestly in the beginning I didn’t think I’d get the hang of the hand coordination and then I found Susan Bates crochet needles. I love these needles. Easy grip and comfortable. I’m still just making easy patterns but soon need to get started on a baby blanket for my first great grand baby.

Disappointing and not ergonomic at all
I'm disappointed by these hooks. I've wanted to try this brand because I've seen other crocheters say how much they like them. I wanted to upgrade from the cheap ones I started with. I gave a couple stars because the actual hook part is pretty nice. However the grip is neither soft nor ergonomic. The ergonomic part stops well sort of the flat grip part, which is the primary place it's needed. I missed it on the picture, but it stops just at the bottom of the bump in the cardboard packaging. Additionally there is little to no space between the grip and the hook making more complicated stitches with multiple loops on the hook difficult to manage. Especially for someone with mobility issues. Finally the ergonomic part is not at all soft. It feels like hard plastic.
