Amazing set of scissors!

I love the stainless steel because I know these will last a very long time and I can pass them on to my own kids in time. They are great for heavy duty fabrics and I use these daily. A CRAFTERS MUST HAVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pair of trimmers are a must have if you are a crafter. I make a lot of wreaths and cutting through mesh and fabrics is a challenge. With these trimmers I am able to make one clean cut every time. They do have a little weight to them but they are so easy to hold and use. These trimmers are definitely heavy duty and are made to last a long time. The blades are very sharp and can easily cut through leather, rubber, upholstery and fabric. This is such an amazing product and I highly recommend them.

I Love Gingher!

Very nice!

These are big, sturdy, and sharp and the look and feel like they will last just as long! It took a minute for her to get used to them because they are bigger and a little heavier, but she really seems to like them.

I love that they are extra long so I can cut big pieces with no problem. They cut very smooth and don't damage what you are cutting. I can tell these are going to last a very long time. They are a little heavy but they need to be so that they are strong enough to cut the toughest fabrics and leathers. I highly recommend them!

Nice scissors

The two sides are attached by a slot head metal screw for easy break down for sharpening. The trimmers are heavy but well balanced so the weight doesnt affect you while cutting and allows the trimmers to glide through whatever you are cutting. Well made product.

Try Gingher for high quality shears
My 8 inch pair of Ginghers that I've had since 1975 needed to be sent out for sharpening (I've only had them sharpened maybe 4-5 times in 40+ years), so I bought this 10 inch pair that I'd always wanted, to continue work on a project already in progress, while the smaller pair was being sharpened. The 10 inch shears are great for cutting long lengths of fabric such as drapes, bedding, formal gowns, etc. I love having both sizes.

Gingher Knife Edge 10" Trimmers
The Gingher Knife Edge Bent Trimmers are great, nice and sharp! I have medium size hands and they fit great when I'm cutting a lot of fabric, less "cutting" motion because of size. Being in the "Gingher family" they didn't disappoint me and I will continue to purchase more "Gingher" scissors.

MOST AMAZING SCISSORS EVER!!!
Asked an employee if these scissors were truly worth the price. She said her mom has some that are STILL FANTASTIC after 25 years. Oh my goodness - they are INCREDIBLE!!! I've let friends cut a few things and they're AMAZED. I began sewing and quilting about 3 years ago. How did I work with out my Gingher's? Thank you for carrying these, Joann's!

Worth the investment
These are definitely worth the investment. I will probably not need to get another pair of these unless it is for the different scissor sizes. Really love them! They cut through stacked fabric like butter. Very sharp so watch for your fingers.

Whatever you buy it’s quality !
I normally go to JOANN Fabrics , because a trip in the store means meeting with a great group of knowledgeable employees ready to serve you, to help you and most importantly with great attitude... but I tried their service online more than once too... lately with JOANN super sale on July on scissors and all the coupons I had a huge order with scissors, the best most expensive one buy one get one free (8 for the price of 4), and all the little items I need to renew from time to time, from colored sewing needs and I treated myself to decorations. I also embroider and buying in bulk is also very good for me!
I receive my order, well packed, fast and no item was delayed or missing...
The savings in store and online are unbelievable... I already have my granddaughters addicted to the store... one took a class to learn how to make a pillowcase... she was in heaven....
Don’t ever chance your policies... it works for the store and for us customers, as a teacher, I have my constant 15% discount .... so I feel like going to you is a fun trip and I get the best for a great price....

Best scissors ever!

High quality but not ideal for everyone
I have owned a pair of these for many years, and these are my "go-to" general purpose sewing shears/scissors. They are definitely high-quality, heavy, sturdy, and sharp. However, they can be a little stiff to open and close when new (you can probably loosen the screw if needed), so this might be a little difficult for someone with arthritis, people who have difficulties with hand strength, or for children to use. The handles are not padded, obviously, since these are all-metal, so for long periods of cutting fabric or for cutting lots of heavy fabric that requires more pressure to cut, you could potentially rub a blister or at least have a sore thumb. They will cut easily through heavy fabric, however, but of course not quite as easily as thinner fabrics. So for the average adult doing an average amount of fabric cutting, these are wonderful and cut like a dream! I do love mine, and I know if I continue to take care of them, they will last for many more years to come. I do highly recommend these, but like any product, it is best to pick the proper tool for individual circumstances and use. I have always been a Gingher products fan, and these do live up to the esteemed Gingher reputation!

Sharp and Dependable
Quilter of 20 years.. I have 6 pairs.. LOVE them... will cut through many layers of fabric dependably.. after 20 years, 2 had nicks and I had them sharpened at Joann's - PERFECTION again... back to original.. Recommend these scissors to anyone who sews... just keep those sharp points in a safe positions.
