Nice but.....
I have always appreciated my Gingher scissors. I have two pair I carry around looking for someone to sharpen them. I cut flannel fabric only but they do dull. I live in NE Montana

Plated peeling started after 3x of use
I purchased the scissor less than two months ago. The scissor claimed to be covered with a durable double-plated chrome-over-nickel finish. After 2-3 times of use, the plated metal layer over the Gingher started peeling off over the pointy edge of the scissor. Before purchasing mine, I've read comments online of different users stating they were using their Gingher Dressmaker for a very long time. The manufacturer must have changed materials used during production to something super cheap. Sadly, I am very disappointed with this product.

Gingher Dressmaker Shears
I only used these shears a couple of times but they feel very solid and cut any thickness of materials with ease. They come with a thick plastic cover for the blades to protect them when not being used. Feel it was a good quality product at a fair price.
