Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great magnet but worthless pins Bought product because my mom and I have used magnets for years. I lost mine over a move a few years ago and recently bought this one. Magnet works good but the pins are worthless. If you want sharp pins to go through your fabric then don't buy these. It takes about 2-3 tries with different pins to poke through easy fabric. What happened to sharp pins?

This works so well, and I haven't stepped on any pins or needles since I got it! I also have a younger sister so... Totally love this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this! I love this magnetic pincushion. It's just love the one my mother had 30 or 40 years ago except a different color. It's so nice to be able to drop pins in the general direction of the pincushion and not have to put them carefully into an actual pincushion. And to find a pin or needle I've dropped on the carpet, it can't be beat! And I love how the magnetic field lines up all the pins, making them easy to pick up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from “OUCH!” Great idea in theory, but I’m always getting stabbed because the pins are pointing in all directions and the sharp points are not buried beneath in the fill of your typical pin cushion. I believe some mouse traps are best left to the original design. However it isa secure place to keep Bobby pins, barrettes etc. I don’t vacuum nearly the amount I used to. I’ll mark “yes” to recommendation question but for the purpose of using in the powder room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So handy!!! I got this for my 12 year old daughter. She has a hard time containing pins and I am afraid she’s going to step on one. So when she’s done with her work I have her scan the floor with the magnet as well as her table. It picks them right up!
