[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the past month that I've had this mixer, I've made several batches of cookies, cakes, muffins, and even homemade pizza dough. It's done a fantastic job every time! Easy to use and the 4 quart bowl is the perfect size. The splatter guard has a built in pour spout, so even the kids can help out. Love it and definitely recommend it to friends and family!!!

I have used it to make a thin batter & a thick batter and the mixer worked very well and had the power to blend both perfectly. The bowl slides into place to lock to prevent walking away. The attachments that come with it are a paddle for blending & folding, a whip and a dough hook. The attachments are very easy to put in place. I haven’t used the dough hook yet so can’t comment on it. The silver finish on the mixer makes it appear less expensive, but the mixer performs well. Cleanup was easy. It also comes with a splash guard which I like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and helpful hands free mixing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a standing mixer and glad I chose this one. Not as expensive as another brand but just as great for making cakes, breads, cookies, frostings and more. Nice safety feature with lifting the beater out of the bowl - two hands needed - one on the release button and one hand on the mixer handle to lift back. The bowl locks into place. Three attachments of beaters that easily lock in place and easy removal from mixer. Also has a splatter shield which is great not only for adding your dry ingredients to your bowl but also great for adding eggs or liquids - no need to stop mixing to add these now. Easy clean up too. I made my famous banana bread using all three attachments and very pleased with the results. This mixer has multiple dial in speeds on the controller with a handy reference on its top. I highly recommend this stand mixer to not only the beginner cook but to anyone who enjoys baking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight, but mighty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stand mixer about a month a go and let me tell you, it is great. I was looking at a Kitchen Aid like my grandma has, but chose this one instead and I am glad I did. For one, it is much lighter than hers, which is great for me and has a bunch of features. I like that the bowl locks in place. At first I thought this might be a problem getting all the food mixed properly, but I used the paddle attachment and it sits right at the bottom and side, so it gets all of it. It has 7 speeds for all your needs and the splash guard with the hole of adding ingredients is the best part. no more turning it on to splash stuff everywhere. I would defiantly recommend this mixer to anyone.

This Stand Mixer is light weight, switching between variable speeds with ease, attachments (splater guard, balloon whisk and dough hook), and surely enough wattage/power to mix completely.

After trying all the attachments it does a great job of mixing different materials with different consistencies. The Whisk mixes liquids very well for a smooth finished result. The Beater is exceptionally good for what it is designed for and the Dough Hook is great for kneading thick materials. The splatter shield is very helpful for keeping thin liquids for splashing all over the counter and is easy to install. The seven speed give the user any speed needed for almost any mixing situation. The Suction Cup feet are particularly good for keeping the mixer from moving around on a slippery surface. All in All this mixer is an exceptional value for the price and should make any mixing job easier. The only thing I would like better would be if the cord was just a little bit longer, maybe by a foot.

The paddle and hook fit to the side of the bowl so all off the batter or dough mixes with very little need to scape down side of bowl. I was amazed at how quickly my bread dough was completely mixed. The splatter shield has a pour spout that makes it easier to add ingredients when running. With out the shield in place though it is harder to add ingredients without lifting the head as the head is really close to the edge of the bowl. My main complaint on this mixer is the fact that the vibrations cause it to "walk" on the counter. I think it needs to have a more stable or balanced base.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stand Mixer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just started using my Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer a few days ago and I have to admit that I love it. I have always used a hand mixer but never again! I have made mashed potatoes, a cake, pancake batter, and also tried making some bread dough with it with a recipe that I found and have wanted to try for a long time. I have always made bread in my bread machine because I couldn't use my hands to do the dough as my hand strength is weak and a hand mixer just doesn't cut it for thick dough; but this mixer was amazing with the dough, so now I don't have to haul out the bread machine! I love the pour/splash guard that comes with it to stop messes with pouring. I like that it comes with the 3 attachments. The bowl is nice and deep and easy to clean. The suction cups on the bottom are nice to keep it steady on the counter and I love the lightness of the machine as you don't have to "lug" it from place to place. I have actually found no negatives about this mixer. There were alot of things I wouldn't make anymore because either the hand mixer couldn't handle it or it put too much work on my hands but I told my husband the other day I will be making them once again with this mixer! Thank you for a great mixer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I stand by my stand mixer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the stand mixer, up until now I was using a hand mixer. While the hand mixer did a good job I am now able to use both hands to add ingredients and my work area stays a lot cleaner. I used the whisk attachment to make chocolate pudding. After two minutes the pudding came out very smooth and completely blended. I used the flat beater to make cookie dough. Because cookie dough is so stiff I was always afraid to use my hand mixer. The stand mixer made short work of the cookie dough, the dough was ready in less than half the and it was mixed perfectly. Using the dough hook is my next task, without the stand mixer I never tried making my own bread. The mixer looks good, works great, and allows me to do so many tasks in less time and with less mess. I really like this mixer. Its my new kitchen BFF.

As you can see in the photo's i enclosed it has a easy to reach tilt button, the top shows the speeds and what you can use them for. The bowl can be locked in place by a simple spin of the bowl. The bottom has suction cups to hold the stand in place. Has splash guard and comes with 3 different mixer parts(see in picture). This mixer is the a great value for the money. The speed of it is great. I know i will be trying to find everything i can to mix up so i can use it.

But with attachments including a nonstick flat beater, whisk and - most importantly - dough hook, this mixer saved my hand and arm muscles and made the work easy. These and the tilt-head feature promised quick and easy changes while mixing in the 4-quart bowl with handles, and I was not disappointed. Suction cups on the bottom of the unit kept everything steady. And the easy to understand manual gave wonderful instructions, a mixing guide, tips and recipes. It’s attention to this kind of detail that makes the Hamilton Beach brand stand out.

She has been using an electric hand mixer for years and wanted something that would make her baking and mixing easier. She immediately started testing it out. She loves to make cakes, cup cakes and banana bread. This mixer is a winner and will handle everything with its powerful 300 watt motor. The seven speeds and the mixing guide make it so simple to use. The only problem I see is that I may be putting on weight from all the sweets she is making!!! Thanks Hamilton Beach for another great product....we love it!

Each speed is for particular mixing and it also mention what speed is used for what kind of material next to the speed number. You can make dough for any bakery needs. Works like commercial mixer, uses 300 watts. The sucking air rubber at the bottom grips the surface and the bowl and all attachment remains in place while in operation. Very easy to operate and produces excellent texture of any material used to make dough or liquid. Strongly built, refined material used in its making, great appearance and easy to clean and store. No dough flour stick to the bowl, neither it fly's out of the bowl while in operation. If properly used this product can last for one's life span. I am totally impressed with the productivity of the mixer, a great product, easy to operate and the end product is baked correctly and the taste of each bite is mouth watering. It batter all ingredients uniformly and thus when baked every area is cooked evenly which is good for digestion and healthy living. I am totally impressed with the appearance, it's productivity, easy to clean and easy to store after use.
