How To Get It
The Original Magnatab was designed with the Montessori learning style in mind, creating a sensory-based creative play experience. Using the magnetic stylus, children pull the beads up to the surface to draw pictures, letters, numbers and shapes. In doing this, they feel the pull of the magnets, hear their clicking sound, and see what they are drawing. The beads are magically “erased” when pushed down by the tip of a finger or the swipe of the side of the stylus. The tablet features easy storage for the magnetic stylus, which clicks securely into place. Great for use at home or in the classroom!

Fun versatile toy for young children.
My son who is 4 loved playing with this. He likes to sit down and touch each magnet with his pen, which takes some time. He also uses this to practice his shapes and number drawings. It is nice that this is a screen free way for him to practice drawing shapes or letters with. We took this with us when we went to the store for him to play in the cart with since there is no loose pieces for him to lose while we are out. Overall it is a great little toy to keep handy when you need to occupy their little hands.

Good for travel/sensory
This Magnatab is fun for the little one! He enjoys pulling the magnets up with the stylus and pushing them back in. I even enjoy pushing them back down. This is great for little learners just getting started on how to draw and such. MESS FREE! Love that it's mess free and everything is contained within the tablet. I think this would be perfect on the go! Keeps him busy for some time! Also like the stylus has a slot, but it may not go back every time! Overall, great sensory toy.

Great toy!
This toy is great! All of my kiddos have had a blast trying it out and making different designs. They have been able to figure out how to write different letters, numbers, and shapes. We would definitely recommend this product as a boredom buster, a car ride rescue and a fantastic screen free toy.

Perfect for play and hand eye coordination
I have to start by saying all 3 of kybkids enjoy playing with this, ages 13, 11 and 3. I keep finding it in my 13 yr olds room.
My 3 year old is the one who really enjoys it though. It goes everywhere with us, in the car and even Dr. appointments, it is perfect size and even fits in my purse. I enjoy the Magnatab Free Draw because there is so much hand eye coordination, we are using it weekly in her Occupation therapy. It really seems to be helping all while she thinks she is playing.
This is a must have for our house.

Simple yet entertaining, a win!
My four year old son received this as a product tester so we could leave a review!
He is really enjoying seeing the way the little magnet balls pop up when he swipes the stylus over them. He repeatedly draws designs and then pushes the magnet balls back down one by one so he can make another design. The product is simple, yet entertaining. As a mother trying to keep her kids off screens, I can appreciate that it holds his interest for a long time!

Awesome idea!
My daughter loved to be playing with a new toy. It was a little hard for her to use and she is 3 and a half. Even I found it a little hard to push the magnetic beads down. Drawing was a little hard too, as more than one bead would come up at a time. It does seem like a fun idea. It would be great for taking on car rides. I think it would be better for older kids.

Fun, Educational and Perfect for on the Go
My preschool daughter loves to dry and write. She was so excited to receive her Magnatab. Not only did she love how the pen magnetically made the "beads" appear, but she also loved pushing them back down again with her hands and the stylus. It really promotes fine motor play as she wanted to match the stylus with the dots. When she turned the board upside down all of the beads would rise to the top which made the style of play different so she could push instead of pull the beads. For sensory play, she would push the beads down with her hand. It was so easy to take on the go because the stylus easily secures into the tablet and we don't have to worry about losing it! She really loved seeing what she could trace (like her hand) and what she could write. She is learning her letters in school and wanted to show us how she can make those same letters on her Magnatab. This is definitely going to be one of those items that is ALWAYS in our go-bag for appointments, trips, car rides, restaurants, grocery shopping and more. It is not only fun and engaging, but it doesn't need batteries, is safe/enjoyable with children of many ages, and perfect for both quiet and imaginative play!

Handy Drawing / Writing Practice Tool
Great for fine motor development and allows for open ended drawing or writing practice rather than some other magnetic boards which focus specifically on letters, numbers or shapes. Perfect for keeping little ones occupied on the go since it is self contained and doesn’t require paper or anything. The pen fits very securely in the it’s own spot. My kids found it intriguing. My 4 year old struggled a bit with pushing the beads back down but I taught him how to use the back of the pen and that worked better.

Great sensory option
My family and I received this product as part of a product teat review. My daughter is 3 and a half and she seemed to enjoy the toy. She used it to “ draw” letters, and numbers. I can see how this would be stimulating to the senses as I found myself pushing the the magnets back down with my fingers due to enjoying the feel and my finger worked better than the pen. Overall it was enjoyable however it’s not a toy that held her interest very long, not sure what “long”is for an active 3 year old. She seemed more excited by the newness of the toy than the product itself. Overall I would recommend it as an option to purchase.

My 3.5 year old played with this for quite a while when we got it! It took us a minute to figure out exactly how it was supposed to work, but she’s happy to push down the dots and bring them back up with the stylus!

We just got the magnatab today and my 3 year old has probably already spent an hour playing with it. He has just as much fun pushing the magnets back down as he does using the stylus. He wrote the first letter of his name, but also enjoyed just making the magnets reappear. Magnatab held his attention and kept him engaged. I would recommend it.

Great multi sensory toy
This toy is a must have. It’s perfect for young and old. We initially got it for my younger daughter but I caught my 10 year old playing with it as well as my teens. I have to admit that I enjoyed it as well.
It’s an amazing sensory toy. The magnet pulls up the little balls so you can free draw, play tic tac toe, or even just get every hole filled in. Then you can pop them in with your fingers if the pen. My son kept replying with how satisfying it was to push in those little balls.
It’s perfect for us for travel. There’s no worries about losing small pieces and it easily fits in a small bag. My daughter used it on our stroller walks, in the car, and at the restaurant along with playing at home with it. My daughter’s occupational therapist has also used it on her sessions for learning letters. My daughter can trace the letters with her fingers to push them back in so she learns the proper strokes to form the letters.
This toy has been well loved already. We plan on getting some for the cousins for Easter.

Great for developing motor skills
We got this over the weekend as a gift. My whole family enjoyed it, including my 3, 7, and 9 year old boys. Sometimes the dots get "stuck" and were too difficult for my 3 and 7 year old to push back down, but my 9 year old had no issues. I also wish the pen was attached by a string. We got it on Sunday and already lost the pen 3 or 4 times from our 3 year old forgetting to put it back. Overall a fun toy and we will be taking it on our upcoming road trip.

Satisfying engaging toy!
So we have four kids and I must say that this is such a huge hit in my household. So much that some of my kids want to use their own money to purchase their own. My kids are 13, 9, 8, and 4. My 4 year old absolutely thought this was something magical. The noises are perfect to stimulate little minds. Actually my 13 year old said how satisfying it was. My 8 year old can’t even take her eyes off of it when playing with it. It’s the only thing that has really engaged them more so then screen time. I must say as a parent this is my favorite toy that’s been in our house in a long time. I love the storage spot for the magnetic pen. So easy for them to be misplaced. This seems like a wonderful sturdy toy that will be around for a very long time.

Satisfying Engaging Toy!

Super fun!
My 7yo says this is one of his favorite toys! It feels like a creative fidget toy with the way it works and I think it will be good for car rides too. It is a little too easy to erase your art but we've learned to just keep it pretty flat.

Different but great little toy
I have 3 kids( 2,11, and 14). All 3 love it. My youngest likes scribbling on it. And My 14 year old is slightly austic and it's like a figet toy to him. He loves pushing down the magents. I know that's what it's not about, but that is a bonus part for this toy. My 11 year old loves drawing on it. It is different, but it's very entertaining. It'll be great for car trips and all. Would highly recommend it:)

Self contained entertainment!
My 3 kids sat down to play with the Magnatab free draw. They all played very differently. My three year was awed every time the “magic pen” produced a metal dot when it touched the board. She had just as much fun tapping the dots back down into the base. My 6 and 7 year olds played tic tac toe. They draw a grid and then did the x o pattern when it was their turn. My six year old had the most fun. It kept her busy making patterns for 30 mins. I really liked that the stylus was housed in the board for storage. I like there aren’t loose pieces and it would be great to keep in the car. Best part it was screen free play all my kids enjoyed.

Fun drawing tablet that doesn't require batteries!
My four year old was so excited to try out the Magnatab Free Draw! This toy is a wonderful alternative to the standard LCD writing tablet and doesn't contain a small battery that you might worry about. Instead it works with magnetic beads and a magnetic stylus, allowing the child to pull the beads into the top of the board making a picture, shapes, letters, or numbers. My little one got to work right away trying to write her name (she's just learning), and creating different shapes for us to guess. My son has autism, and we used the letter writing version to help him to learn pencil grip and to provide an outline for writing letters. His teachers said it was one of his favorite toys in the classroom. Even my eight year old daughter is enjoying playing with it, stating "this thing is awesome!" :-)
