Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adhesive interfacing This adhesive interfacing is excellent and easy to use. I wish that the Joann website was more descriptive because I meant to buy a different kind of interfacing. Maybe descriptions can be added to show what kinds of projects you can use this for? I feel like the website is a little slapdash and not at all user-friendly, relying on the deep expertise of the people shopping on it to know what they're buying, rather than explaining it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t use a sewing machine I bought this to use to sew face masks for the PICU at Children’s Hospital because no other interface was available. But do not for sewing with a machine unless you want to take it to be “un-gummed”. The tension, quality consistent stitching and quiet operation got very bad. The masks turned out fine at first but the skipped stitches and wonky tension prohibited further use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for face masks This was not interface but adhesive for craft projects, not face masks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wasnt right for facemasks Actually, the product was not able to be used for facemasks. When I applied heat it created a plastic layer which is not breathable. How do I return it?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HeatnBond Lite - do not recommend Was not sew able after applying interfacing. It was a plastic not interfacing like I was expecting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not listed correctly on website Listed wrong on website. This is webbing for applique not interfacing

Rated 3 out of 5 by from fusible interfacing. This really isn't interfacing, or at least not what I was thinking of when I looked online to order fusible interfacing. As I used it in face masks I hope it will work well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Face Masks Perfect Perfect I love everything from your store...I wish to find all fabrics that Im looking but I know everyone is in the same page now...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heat fabric bond only The word "interfacing" is misleading. This is a rubbery bond only. No fabric, not suitable for making breathable mask!
Date published: 2020-04-25
Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is NOT interfacing. This is NOT interfacing. It is iron-on adhesive, and is like a thin layer of plastic.
Date published: 2020-04-23
Rated 2 out of 5 by from My bad. The product is fine. The lower score is because it is not what I thought I ordered. I will find a use for it.
Date published: 2020-04-23
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rip Off I ordered this expecting it was actually interfacing as listed, when it is really iron on adhesive. With the coronavirus, the order was done online and then the store clerk delivered it to the door and disappeared back inside. I called immediately from my cell but they refused to take it back and said I had to keep it till the store reopened to return it! Waste of money and time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heat Bond for masks I used this interfacing in masks that I made as a filter. seems to work well for extra protection
Date published: 2020-04-20
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not what I needed The plastic interfacing would be good for craft projects. It was not good for what I wanted. I only used a very small amount. I was required to buy five yards, sure did not want that much.
Date published: 2020-04-20
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor bonding. Fabric pulls apart. Bond doesn't work. Fails to do what's needed.
Date published: 2020-04-19
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hear bond I didnt Realize I bought the wrong stuff for my masks
Date published: 2020-04-18
Rated 1 out of 5 by from fusible web Although it stuck very nicely to the fabric. When sewing with it, the needle would jam. I had to use it webbing side down. Would not buy again.
Date published: 2020-04-17
Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT INTERFACING! Don't be fooled by the description as I was. This is NOT fusible interfacing and is not even described as such on the information/instruction sheet of the product. It is fusible ADHESIVE that you would use for creating patches or appliques - big difference. The product itself is probably great for patches and appliques, but I wanted interfacing. Ten yards and a waste of money for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Increase thickness of masks Words well to increase rating of masks increases mask strength

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Peasy Easy to use. I used it to fuse cotton liner on my crochet mask

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Know Your Fusible Interfacing There are several fusible interfacings. Some heat bond on one side only, attaching a thin polyester lining on a (usually inner) layer of fabric, give the fabric some “support”. There are fusibles that dissolve when washed, and are handy with knits. This interfacing (Heat and Bond) is designed to “glue” or adhere 2 fabrics together, as the applique artists reviewing this product have explained. This type of bonding material can be valuable in home made face mask wearing, if the goal is to adhere an inner filter layer of perhaps heat blown, non-woven polypropylene, to the inside of the front mask layer (though the heat setting will be critical in order NOT to damage the structure of the polyprop). Personally, I prefer to treat the poly fabric like a sewn in interfacing, thus preserving the water repellant, fine micron value- yet still enjoying its unique breathability and moisture wicking properties.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Stuff I bought this thinking it was light enough to use with the masks for medical use. I had to bond it to the fabric before cutting out the pieces. They come out with a plastic finish and my sewing machine. (a good Baby Lock) won't even stitch through this. Waste of money. They should. have said in the description that a plastic finish would result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interfacing Very thin. Super easy to use / iron on. It is papery so it makes a rustling noise when attached to fabric!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this product I purchased some in December to make a Christmas tree skirt. I’m a student and I work so I had to find something that would be easy to do yet look nice and thanks to HeatnBond lite my tree skirt was easy to make and turned out super cute. Great product holds fabric together just like it says.
