CARDI:
Ch 83 (91, 98).
Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - you will have 82 (90, 97) sts.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across working last dc in top of beg ch-3.
Rep Row 3 until piece measures 6 (6, 7) in. (15 (15, 18) cm) from beg, end with a RS row as the last row you work.

Divide for Fronts and Back
Left Front
Row 1 (WS): Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in next 20 (22, 24) dc; leave rem sts unworked for back and right front - 21 (23, 25) dc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across working last dc in top of beg ch-3.
Rep Row 2 until Left Front measures 4" (5, 6) (10 (12.5, 15) cm), end with a RS row as the last row you work.

Shape Neck
Row 1 (WS): Turn, sl st in first 11 (12, 13) sts, ch 3 (counts as dc), sk next dc, dc in each st across working last dc in top of beg ch-3 - 10 (11, 12) dc.
Rows 2 and 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across working last dc in top of beg ch-3.
Fasten off.

Back
From WS, join yarn with a sl st in first unworked st of Body following left front.
Row 1 (WS): Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in next 39 (43, 46) dc; leave rem sts unworked for right front - 40 (44, 47) dc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across working last dc in top of beg ch-3.
Rep Row 2 until Back measures same as Left Front.
Fasten off.

Right Front
From WS, join yarn with a sl st in first unworked st of Body following back.
Row 1 (WS): Ch 3 (counts as dc), dc in each dc across working last dc in top of beg ch-3 - 21 (23, 25) dc.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across working last dc in top of beg ch-3.
Rep Row 2 until Right Front measures 4" (5, 6) (10 (12.5, 15) cm), end with a RS row as the last row you work.

Shape Neck
Row 1 (WS): Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in next 9 (10, 11) dc; leave rem sts unworked for right front neck - 10 (11, 12) dc.
Rows 2 and 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across working last dc in top of beg ch-3.

SLEEVES (make 2):
Ch 22 (25, 28).
Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 21 (24, 27) sts.

HOOD:

Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, dc in each st across, working last dc in top of beg ch-3.
Rep Row 3 until piece measures about 6 1/2" (7, 8) (16.5 (18, 20.5) cm) from beginning.
Fasten off.

FINISHING:
Sew shoulder seams. Sew Sleeve seams, then sew Sleeves into armholes.
Following diagram, fold Hood in half, then sew edges together for back seam.

Edging
From RS, join yarn with a sl st in lower right front corner of Cardi.
Row 1 (RS): Ch 1, work sc evenly spaced along right front edge, hood edge and left front edge to lower left front corner.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sl st in each st to end of row.
Fasten off.

Weave in ends.
