Attaching the Head & Body
Fasten off leaving a long tail approximately 60" for sewing. Stuff firmly then sew to the head. The stitches from the last round of both the head and the body should match up perfectly since there are 24 stitches on both rounds.

Wings (with A, make 2)

Rnd 2: *Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc*; rep from * to end – 9 sts.

Rnd 4: *Sc in next 3 scs, 2 sc in next sc* rep from * to end – 15 sts.
Rnd 5: Sc in each sc around – 15 sts.
Rnd 6: *Sc in next 3 scs, sc2tog*; rep from * to end – 12 sts. Fasten off leaving long tail for sewing.
Sew the open ends closed. Now, sew them to the sides of the body just under the head.

Horns (with A, make 2)
Take a length of yarn about 5" long and attach it to the side of the head over Rnd 8. Trim to desired length.
Now take the end of each strand of yarn and tuck the ragged end into the center of the strand. This will keep it from unraveling.
Do the same thing for the other side of the head. Using the sewing thread and needle and photos as a guide, sew the tucked edge in place.

FINISHING
Weave in any remaining ends.
