SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 Package of air-dry Crayola® clay
- Star cookie cutter
- 1 Keychain
- 1 Set of Crayola® acrylic paints (primary colors)
- 1 Bottle of paint pour medium
- 3 Small disposable cups
- 1 Wooden stir stick
- Parchment paper
- Straw
DIRECTIONS:
- Roll the air dry-clay about 1/4" thick on a flat surface covered with parchment paper.
- Cut out your star using the cookie cutter. Use a straw to make a hole in one of the upper corners of the star.
- Let it dry.
- Mix each color in a small paper cup following the pour paint instructions.
- Add the colors into one cup and then pour on top of the star, letting it drizzle down the sides. Let dry before picking it up.
JOANN Hacks:
- Always work on a level, flat surface.
- Place a piece of plastic or old paper on the table before painting.
- To make the paint drip off the star, put them on an old cookie cooling rack on top of the paper-covered table.
- Resist the urge to touch them.
