SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- RED HEART Super Saver: 1 skein White
- Cardboard
- 11"x 14" frame
- Dowel
- Hand saw
- Hot glue or extra strength glue
- Scissors
DIRECTIONS:
TASSEL ART- Cut dowel to fit inside of frame.
- Cut 14 lengths of yarn 6" long to be used to tie tassels later. Set aside.
- Cut cardboard into a 7"x 3" rectangle.
- Wrap yarn from skein around cardboard template 20 times. Break yarn.
- Tie top of looped yarn with a 6" length of yarn to secure. Remove loop from cardboard.
- Cut looped yarn on opposite side of tie.
- Drape yarn over dowel, dividing strands evenly.
- Tie a second 6" length around all yarn strands, snug against the dowel.
- Repeat steps 4-7 until seven tassels are secured to the dowel.
- Trim ends of tassels to desired lengths.
- Glue dowel into frame. Reassemble frame and hang following manufacturer's instructions.
