SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Fab Lab™ craft pallet sign - 14"x 12"
- Darice craft wood shaker peg - 3 pcs - 2 1/2"
- Fab Lab Craft, Wood Frame, 4x6 in.
- Craft Essentials™ acrylic paint - white
- Apple Barrel acrylic paint - aquamarine
- Paintbrush
- Sand paper
- Pencil
- Drill with 3/8" drill bit
- Wood glue
- 2 small screws for hanging frame
DIRECTIONS:
- Mark the center of the first, middle, and last boards of the pallet sign 1 1/2" from the bottom edge.
- Drill holes with a 3/8" drill bit at each marked spot.
- Paint the pallet sign with the white paint. Allow to dry.
- Paint the outer edges of the pallet sign with the aquamarine paint. Allow to dry.
- Once the paint is dry, lightly sand the corners and edges of the pallet to create a worn look.
- Put a small amount of wood glue into each of the drilled holes and secure the wood pegs in place. Set the pallet sign aside.
- Paint the picture frame with the white paint, keeping the inner part of the frame, around the glass, unpainted. Allow to dry.
- Paint the outer edges of the frame with the aquamarine paint. Allow to dry.
- Once the paint is dry, lightly sand the corners and edges of the frame to create a worn look.
- Locate the holes on the back of the frame used for hanging. Mark where the holes are on the pallet sign.
- Screw the two small screws into the pallet sign for hanging the frame.
- Place picture inside the frame and hang on the pallet sign.
