SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 3 Swags of plain evergreen 6' long (fir, not traditional pine)
- 1 Package of floral wire 20 gauge
- 1 Roll of green floral tape
- 5 Berry picks - neutral colors and red berries
- 1 Bag of medium-sized pinecones
- 1 Roll of wide gold ribbon
- Wire cutters
- Flat-nosed pliers
DIRECTIONS:
- Wire the three swags of evergreens together overlapping the ends about 3' to make it fuller. You will have about 9' in length when completed.
- Wire the pick of berries randomly into the evergreen swag. Keep it more natural looking by not spacing them too evenly.
- Wrap floral wire around the base of each pinecone, leaving a tail of wire to attach to the evergreen swag. Cluster the pinecones randomly.
- Place the evergreen swag onto the mirror and attach the gold ribbon. Use the entire spool of gold ribbon to make it look lush and full. Trim the ends of the ribbon.
Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
- Tuck the ribbon in and out of the evergreen with long tails to give it a flowy look.
- To keep the garland stable, tie wire to it and attach it to a Command® hook on the back of the mirror.
