Four presser feet and more accessories ensure that you have all the tools you need to get stitching!
Convenience Features
  • Easy convenience buttons: Right by the needle, you’ll find a start/stop button for sewing without the foot control and a reverse button. There is also a locking stitch button and needle up/down button by the LCD display.
    • Start/stop button: The start/stop button allows the machine to sew without using the foot pedal. This feature is great for sewing long seams or for quick mending.
    • Easy reverse button: The reverse button allows you to easily backstitch for locking seams. With the tip of your finger, this conveniently located button can also be used to stop a stitch pattern before its completion.
    • Locking stitch button: The locking stitch button ties off the end of the thread. No need to backstitch to lock a seam. This is ideal for securing seams on delicate fabrics or when using decorative stitches.
    • One-hand needle threader: Thread the machine up to the needle and then let the built-in needle threader take over to get the thread through the eye of the needle.
    • Drop feed: Lowering the feed dogs will drop them below the needle plate. When you sew, the feed dogs will not be used. This technique is used for free motion sewing. The feed dogs will no longer pull the fabric in precise increments. When using free motion, you control the speed and the fabric direction.
    • Horizontal top loading rotary hook bobbin with clear cover: The jam-proof bobbin system allows you to get set-up sewing quickly. The clear bobbin cover allows you to monitor the bobbin thread supply

      • Seven buttonhole styles – customize your buttonhole based on fabric weight, heirloom sewing, fashion sewing and style.
      • LCD display: The backlit LCD display allows you to see what stitch you are on easily. Use the directional buttons to choose stitches and adjust the stitch width and length. The recommended foot is also displayed above the stitch number to take the guess work out of which accessory to use.
      • Memorized needle up/down: Push the button to set the needle to stop in the up or down position. Set the needle in the down position for easy pivoting on corners and for seamless free motion embroidery. Set the needle to the up position for easy fabric removal.
      • Speed control slider: Set the speed for comfortable sewing with the speed control slider. This slider allows you to set the top and low end speeds of the machine. Set to slower speeds for intricate work and high speeds for long straight seams. This is a popular feature amongst beginners. Never sew faster than what you are comfortable with.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved it until it went up in smoke It was a great machine for 3 years, easy to use and bobbin wasn't fussy. One day soon as I plugged it in (it was off) and it went bezerk, running fast making horrible noise then started smoking. In a matter of less than a min my macine was toast. This machine was my "home" machine and never got used in the winter while we were in the warmer climates. So as use is concerned it was only used for a year and a half.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Macine is a dream! Have Singer, Brother, Huscvarna Viking, but this machine is a dream! Learning curve is easy. Quiet, multiple speed, easy drop in bobbin, needle up function and a plethora of feet come in the accessory pack. Hard cover is a plus.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As a quilter, I'm disappointed I stressed searching for the perfect quilter in my price range. I researched reviews and features. About 80% of what I do on my machine is quilting and this checked off my must-haves. I thought. The extension table is useless and that was one of the selling points for me and something I had to have. So this extension table. You flip the legs down and slide it up to the machine. The legs don't stay up. The table doesn't stay in place. There is nothing keeping it in place. It moves around and the legs fall down out from under it. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. If the extension table is one of the things you really need then I absolutely wouldn't purhcase this machine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for doing a lot of sewing/quilting I bought this machine based on the recomendation "machine person" in store over the Juki I was looking at. She said it would be great for piecing/quilting, making bags ect. If you want to use a high loft batting in your quilts this machine struggles to get through it. I diligently clean my machine per manufacturer recommendations. This machine is already making "off" noises, getting fussy about tension, and overall not doing well at my sewing pace. This machine would be great for basic sewing, but not for someone that is sewing all the time. I will also mention in the manufacturer warranty that the warranty is not valid if the machine is used for making items to sell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't like to reverse stitch. I bought this in May of this year. I haven't used it much. While sewing and going into the reverse stitch it jams. There is also an issue with it in changing needle positions. Settings 1 through 3 are supposed to change the needle from left middle and right positions mine does not change positions at all and it stays to the right. This is a very new machine so I am pretty disappointed. issue with it

I found a scuff mark on the machine as well as multiple scuff marks inside the cover along with some short black what I assume is dog hair. There was also dust on the inside of the cover of the machine. Machine itself pretty easy to use. Sews well. Need to play around with it more. But overall pretty satisfied except for the above.
