Like the screw top containers
I love the individual screw top containers. The storage box has a regular lid, not a hinged one. But it still stores my supplies tidily.

The size changed slightly
These containers are great--I've been using them for years to store seed beads and other small beads. However, the ones I received in my recent order are a tiny bit larger than my older ones, making it nearly impossible to use any of the new jars in the old boxes. If you don't need to move the jars around between old and new boxes, you won't have any problems.

Great storage system!
I love these! I now have 5 of them. They hold beads, jump rings, bead caps etc. so nice ! I love how the whole case has a lid and then each jar has a screw on cap. Keeps everything safely where it belongs and you still can see them all.

I use this to store small sewing notions like hook & eyes and such along with rhinestones and jump rings and I love it. i love that it is individual containers that can be removed so if i need to bring one slot on the go i dont have to dump it into something else. the containers are a great size and i actually plan on getting a second one in the next few days.

Perfect for diamond painting

Awesome for small items
I bought this a couple weeks ago. I started what is called "Diamond Painting" . The little drills (or tiles) are very small and I needed something to put them in. I saw this and bought 3. (each painting has several colors) They are perfect! I can open them! I have arthritis and had tried a different product of which I could not open and returened to that other store. Now I will have the drills organized. Love too that the small containers also fit into a large box. So great for total orgainzation! Love this product.

Great for small pieces
I bought this item because I started a "Paint With Diamonds" project and needed a place to store all the little "diamonds." It worked out great, I used a marker to identify the colors and the containers store well in a carrying case.

Online SAVINGS GALORE
I wanted a unique craft to be able to make for my family so that I could let them know how much I think of them & the crafts I make, uniquely for them, will FOREVER remind them of my LOVE! I decided on ornament covers! Besides the beads I NEEDED a storage system & JOANN'S had the answer in the Darice storage containers with many different styles. I am a fumbler!! These containers not only gathered my beads into a great separating system but I was well covered when I dropped one or all!!! And I HAVE!! Clear plastic, durable & small containers with lids for each inside a larger container! A HUGE BONUS was that I've managed to get all I needed while on sale! Besides beads there are storage systems for every size & EVERY NEED!! It seems they must have had a FUMBLER in their family to be so creative in so many styles!

Love these!
A while back I debated about a few different storage solutions for storing my beads, including this one. I ended up grabbing a couple in the store on one visit and spent that afternoon sorting and organizing my then small collection of beads and findings. I've really come to love this system and I generally grab one or two when they go on sale. It's compact and crystal clear so you can see all of the colors. When I first started, I could get most of my collection of beads into one box and findings into another. Of course, as I've continued on in my journey, that no longer applies. I love being able to rearrange each individual container as my collection grows and I re-sort between boxes. I can also grab entire stack of boxes if I'm trying to decide what to make or I can grab individual containers if I know what I want to make. I also like that the individual containers have screw-on lids rather than flip or pop off lids because I've found those generally pop open if you drop them. And because the containers are low-profile, they're less risk of knocking one over and spilling the contents everywhere. The *only* con I have on these is that the box lid just sits on top and doesn't snap on which could be a headache if you drop it. Fortunately, the inner containers have screw lids but I have nightmares of chasing those little containers around the room as they roll off and under things! Other than that one drawback, these are great for growing collections!

Buying online is SAVING me money!
I shop on line as it is difficult to get out for every sale JoAnn's offers PLUS I find too many items to put in my cart that I avoid by the online experience. Even though some items have arrived damaged it is very easy to exchange at the local store and replacement is free. I don't have to wait until it goes on sale again as it is handled immediately! I buy these boxes as they are small enough to handle most all my needs but they have plenty of alternatives! I choose JoAnn's as they carry more of the items I am specifically drawn to as a seamstress but now that I am enjoying beading they handle all those requests as well!

Just what I needed
Any beader will tell you that storage systems evolve as the bead stash grows. These containers allow me to see what my choices are for a project and to pull colors and textures together easily. Easy to get the beads in and out of the containers. Plus I can rearrange my system; i.e., by color or by size) when I change my mind. I like so much I ordered 6 more. And the price was a good value.

I bought this for my small brads and eyelets. Great small twist top lids on the inner containers.
The only improvement I wish they would make is to have the lid on a hinge and it would click closed. It would be nice if it would detach too but it should close securely instead of just sitting on there.
