Not as it used to beI have bought this fabric many times over many years and it has always been great, and it has always been the same. It used to have a twill weave, meaning it had diagonal lines on one side (kind of like khaki pants). The fabric I just received a few days ago is NOT the same, it does not have the twill weave. I have to say I'm very disappointed. There was nothing mentioned in the description either about any change. I would love to get a comment on this from Joann.

Makes good patchesThis stuff makes great patches for use in a smokepole. Perfect thickness and is tough enough to stand up to a large load of FFF.

Beautiful until you wash itBought this to make throw pillows. Washed it on delicate cycle, dried on low, damp dry, and it came out so wrinkled and unable to iron the wrinkles out. The drill fabric is not worth the trouble in my opinion.

In store pick up nightmareI keep trying to order this online for instore pick up, and the next day it gets deleted by the store. I guess the stores and websites don't communicate stock levels to each other.

Nice support material.I like this fabric a lot. It’s great for fortifying more fragile textiles not really made for being weightier garments. This does not come preshrunk, so do be sure to wash first before taking a project to it.

Great utility fabricI used this material to sew kangaroo pouches for the Australia fires. Great quality and very sturdy material. Make sure to prewash because fabric shrinks a bit.
