Best Yarn for Plushies so far!
Juicy Couture!?!? I love this brand. When I saw it was YARN, I about lost my mind and I wanted to spend all my money on every color. I hope this never runs out and it sticks around forever because I got this for my bees. Now I’m gonna try it for my octopuses and sea turtles. I’m in love. So soft! Easy to work with. Kinda flakes off in the end after cutting the yard but not too much. Get it. I’m telling you. It’s the best.

This is really the only velvety yarn that I have found that has a true red. This yarn is so soft, thick, doesn't shed and it's strong. Down side is that it is a little pricy for the yardage.

I love this yarn, but the Sterling Blue colorway doesn't match the pics on joann.com & after winding 6 of 10 balls into cakes, only 1 ball had no manufacturers knot in it. Each ball had 1 knot each.!!
I ordered 10 skeins of the Juicy Couture Luxe Velour
yarn in Sterling blue, & 6 skeins of the Royal blue on joann.com to crochet gifts for 2 new baby boys. I haven't received the Royal Blue yet, but the color difference of the Sterling blue, between the pics on joann.com & the real yarn are quite different. The yarn is a much lighter slate type blue color. This yarn is only 107yds per skein & is $9.99 when not on sale. It should not have manufacturers knots in 5 of 6 skeins that I wound into cakes. This is very disappointing. I already have a lot of this yarn from prior orders in 7 other colors & have never found these knots before. I had to cut out all of the knots out, as the gifts I'm making are plushie steggy dinosaurs for 2 babies, & I can't have a hard knot that can be felt in the yarn. I would only expect this from very cheap yarn, but not in this yarn. Sterling blue is the first of the new 10 colors I've purchased, & it makes me wonder about the other 9 new colors, since I have 7 colors of this yarn already, about 17+ skeins in original colors with no knots in any of them. I am adding pics so you can see the actual color before you purchase. All of the other colors I have in JC Luxe Velour matched the pics very well. Other than the color issue, I really love this yarn or I wouldn't have gotten any more of it. It's very soft, silky, glides through your fingers & is a pleasure to work with it. It's strong, durable, hardly any shedding at all, & other than having a limited color palette, it's a great #5 bulky, slightly on the smaller end of the bulky #5 category. I posted 3 pics of the JC Sterling blue that I ordered. I also posted 2 pics from Joann.com website. They look like 2 totally different blue colors. There is no reason this should happen. The only Joann's store near where I live never had these in JC yarns stock, or I would've definitely gone there to see the yarn in person before purchase, but that Joanns never have anything I want to order in stock. I also could've gotten a better price, by using a better coupon for in store purchases, but I can never do that due to the Joanns store never having anything in stock at all. I have always loved Joanns, it's my favorite of all of the large craft stores, but I am really disappointed by this major color difference in the JC Luxe Velour yarn Sterling blue colorway. Maybe Joann.com can have new pics put up to show the true color. I will keep it, as I have caked up 6 of 10 skeins, but I'm now worried what the Royal Blue colorway will look like. It will be here on Friday. Joann.com should not have such misleading pics for this yarn, & I shouldn't have to travel 60+ miles round trip to make sure a color is correct. This may seem like a small issue, but I like to know exactly what I'm ordering & paying for, & not be disappointed when it's different than shown online. Please do better Joanns, I've been a loyal customer for many years, & I rarely of ever complain about anything I've ever ordered. This however, really is upsetting.

Beautiful soft yarn
I bought the Regal Blue with sparkles to make some scrunchies and it did not disappoint! They turned out so well and there was no shedding or abnormalities with the yarn. I will be purchasing more!

Here's to all us millennials whose parents couldn't afford juicy couture for them at the mall
I was able to make a really nice flower pattern bag with the petals and the strap in this yarn. Flack burgundy was smooth on my metal hook for crochet so very nice gliding as I go. I was able to make my puffy flower pattern bag nice and thick by tripling up the working yarn. It doesnt shed as much as chenille so only a little really.
