Great for large knits
Purchased to use when teaching how to knit to some friends. I haven't used such large needles in so long it took me some getting used to again however I would say for teaching and knitting a scarf these worked well and were priced nicely.

Size 19, 14 inches long
Being made of plastic means they are lightweight and easier on the wrists than if they were heavier. Deducted a star for two reasons: 1) The “base” of the needle needs to be larger, to prevent stitches from slipping off the ends. The base is not much wider than the shaft. I’m not knitting loosely, but I’ve still had a couple stitches slide off! 2) At this large size, Boye really should offer longer lengths - I’m just making a cowl with 10 stitches in a 7-weight yarn, but my stitches barely fit on one needle! I certainly don’t need circular needles with a long cable for my 10 stitches; another couple of inches would do the trick. This would also help prevent stitches from sliding off the needle over the base, as the stitches wouldn’t need to be so crammed up against the base when they’re all on one needle.

Light, Easy, Love
I just bought these and they are great for knitting thicker yarns. They are lightweight and super easy to use. I love how they fit in my hands as I have smaller hands then most but had no issues knitting with these.
These can also be used for yarns recommending 19mm needles. I opted for these instead of the 19mm ones as my hands are smaller and I worried the bigger needles would be more difficult to work with. I used these to knit a faux fur scarf and it is turning out nicely.

Thin plastic
Good quality but could be made of thicker plastic. Has survived my son using them as drum sticks.
