I was so excited for these because the gold rim was going to balance the black on the buttons with my white shirt really nicely. I've been taking my time sewing them on by hand, so all I've done is sew them on one at a time and drape the shirt on the back of a chair until I could do the next button. Today I'm on djdj of 12 and saw that the gold is coming off the ones I did already!! I haven't even worn or washed it yet and it's barely been moved. If you get these, make sure to put a clear coat of lacquer or something right when you buy them, or you might as well just buy black buttons.
