Frustrating but workable
The colours didn't all match the guide. The guide didn't completely match the pattern. I ended up using a few of my own colours and not following the guide. It turned out good. but I think this kit may frustrate someone who is doing this as a first or second kit.

cute but not enough thread
I'm half way through, and though it's a cute pattern the thread is all wrong. I spent a lot of time sorting and labeling thread colors before I started. As I sewed I used the thread in the number of strands they suggested. I ended up buying 2 more threads to get enough of the colors needed, and I used both "green" and "very dark green" as just green- I think maybe they were really different lots of the same color and the very dark green wasn't included at all. I still haven't finished this and I anticipate having to use more of my own stash of thread or purchasing more because the thread included just isn't enough

Unorganized packaging
When I bought this was I was expecting nicely separated floss with easy to follow instructions. When I first opened it, I noticed all the floss was tied together which made it difficult to separate by color or even find the correct color as they were not numbered. The picture to follow was also difficult to follow as the colors on the page didn't match the colors of floss.

Missing 2 colors of thread
Simple instructions but missing some thread colors. The package was missing 2 of the green threads needed to follow the directions exactly. This was disappointing.

Weird colors of floss included
So, as another reviewer mentioned, the floss included is not labeled or tagged in any way to help identify which colors are which. The instructions list the colors that are supposed to be used, but the floss was all thrown in together in hanks. For example, trying to figure out which green is which is really annoying: yellow green, dark yellow green, green, kelly green, dark green, blue green. From process of elimination, dark green seems to be more like dark blue-green, and I plan on purchasing my own floss that looks more like the picture, and a more realistic green for flower stems. Ugh! Otherwise, pretty composition and pattern, but the kit is rather lacking for an “everything that you need” kit.

Very Pretty
Very pretty pattern, I changed some of the colors and stitches to make it my own :) The hoop is fine for display, but I used a Susan Bates hoop that stays tight.
