24/7 yarn
Knitted up nicely. Some knots in the yarn otherwise I would give it 5 stars.

So disappointed
I love working with this yarn, but even after soaking overnight with vinegar & salt water & then washing the color bled so bad that it's a totally faded out, completely different color of green. It's the border for 2 placemats that made for my sister & now they are ruined. I made 2 solid placemats also & now I'm afraid to wash them.
This is not an inexpensive yarn; it should not bleed like that

Seems nice . Closer to a DK
I ordered this yarn a week ago, looking for a substitute for a project that called for a worsted weight acrylic yarn. The color (ecru) is nice, on the whiter side compared to some others I’ve seen. And it feels soft. I can’t comment on how it is to crochet with as it ended up being too light to match the gauge of the project I’m doing. It looks to be only slightly heavier than the Lion Brand Coboo yarn (3) I’m working with on another project.
On the plus side I learned more about how to differentiate different worsted weight yarns when using on line (gauge and hook size seem to be clearer indicatorsj

Will buy more. So comfortable
Beautiful colors. Soft and strong. Would make a nice loose and cool breathable fall weather sweater. If I could crochet. My grandson is making me necklace type pouches for my diabetic monitor because I frequently don't wear pants with pockets. Easy to slip over your neck and match or accent what you wear. He learned to weave in public school. Yay for art funding.

LOVE Lion Brand Cotton Yarn!!
This is the first time I have tried Lion Brand cotton yard and it is by far the best yarn for what I am making. It does not separate like acrylic yarns, it is smooth and very easy to work with. Love it!!!

Yarn orders should be 1 dye lot
In my order of 6 skeins there were 4 different dye lots. This is not acceptable. I will make it work but there are definite visual differences in color.

All around best cotton yarn
24/7 is not only my favorite cotton yarn but one of my favorite yarns in general! Softer than other cotton yarns with a very slight sheen, this yarn is very versatile! I used it to wrap glass bottles, crochet placemats, beach bags and so much more!

Stretchy and light
Beautifully soft and squishy. Crochet projects work up easily without snagging, and have a nice stretch factor. Makes dreamy and summer-worthy clothes.

Great yarn
Shiny and sturdy yarn! I'm making a rug, and this is great for it. This is only the second time I have crocheted a rug, and I am very early to the process, but I am a big fan of the yarn. The yarn has almost a slippery quality to it. It is very nice.

Quality yarn
I am a beginner in knitting and crochet but I instantly loved working with this soft cotton yarn. Strands do not separate easily and the yarn glides smoothly on the needles.

Don't want to spend alot but still want quality?
Wonderful cotton yarn that doesn't cost heaps. I had been using Lily Sugar and Cream, because (not really being much good at crochet) I don't like to spend alot on my yarn; however, the quality of that bargain brand cotton yarn has deteriorated since I first began using it, and I went in search of something else. Lion Brand's 24/7 gives a much better quality, and the price really isn't that much more.

Not a 4-Weight Yarn
Just received this yarn and my first impressions are that the yarn is not thick enough to be considered a category 4 weight and that the colors are much darker than pictured. I will still use the yarn for the baby blanket I am crocheting but I expect it will take a lot more of it for this pattern because of the thinner/lighter weight. I am recommending this with reservations.

Disappointed - color discoloration after washing
After finally finishing all the pieces of my sweater I hand washed them in Seventh Generation Free&Clear detergent and cold water. You would thing that would cause no problems, however, yarn got small discolored patches. Sometimes they would be two stitches long, sometimes more. My back piece had 4 of these discolored patches. One of my sleeves got two as well. Front piece and the other sleeve were fine. I contacted Lion Brand customer service with request to help me figure out what caused it. First they suggested to over-dye all the pieces, then l was told it might have been from washing my pieces in clorox residue in my washing bowl. Hmm....
So, from this experience (result of discoloration after washing and poor customer service) I suggest for other potential buyers to select different brand of cotton yarn. It is not worth your time on working with a poor quality yarn.
Discoloration after washing is in no way a sign of a good quality product.

Lion brand versus I love this cotton yarn
The color is vibrant and just what I was looking for to border my runner with. However in my previous runner I used "I love this cotton yarn" from Hobby Lobby and it felt softer and a little thicker, more of a yarn feel versus a string feel with the Lion brand when crocheting with it, but the other brand didn't have the color I was looking for. After blocking my runner it looks beautiful and I get lots of compliments on it.

My favorite cotton yarn for garments
I love this mercerized cotton yarn for making summer garments. It has a slight shine, great stitch definition, and is a quality yarn that comes in many colors. I've been really pleased with the things I have crocheted with 24/7 cotton.

No splits when crocheting
This is a first time buy and they had some bright and bold colors. I love the purple. This cotton yarn doesn't seem to split either. Will be buying more.
